Agreed. I don’t even know why it’s a conversation. He’s earned his leapfrog. If a player was scoring loads in the conference and we signed him, we wouldn’t have an issue about him moving up the leagues. People need to be more objective.

You really are a funny old bunch. I accepted the fact he was gone weeks ago, so would MR who will have already lined up replacements. Can’t blame McNulty. I actually think he’ll struggle in the champ and will largely be used as a sub but good luck to him.

Don't know why anyone is surprised. Was always going to happen. If you look at my posts relating to McNulty I always said we would keep Bayliss but lose McNulty

If I was him (not a Cov fan) I’d be pushing for a move. Money would be quite different for him. Ive never understood why the top players like Neymar would force a move for more money because they already earn more than they can spend but for McNulty to go from £100k a year to 300k a year...

Didnt everyone time to realise he was an effective player ;-) even the goal he set up for Jodi Jones on the opening day of the season should’ve been enough for people to see he was a great team player

Agree with the OP. I was pretty nonplussed when he signed but the guy is a winner. I don’t think we would’ve gone down last year if he was in the fold. He wouldn’t have allowed some of the performances from some of those players last year.

I love the play offs. Gives 50% of the table something to play for normally right upto the end.

My prediciton is that we will keep Bayliss but Mcnulty will go to Scotland.

Bayliss tweeted something along the lines of "See you all in League 1" so he has no intentions of leaving. Whether the club sell him or not thats out of his hands. Nice to see that he is gearing up for league 1 though and not thinking about bigger and better.
