Everybody defend, then whack it up the pitch and hope Walker, the other striker and C O'H can make something of it. Rinse, repeat all game. Time wasting from the first minute to the last (even if we're losing 🤣 🤣 🤣 )

I was thinking that - Danjuma amongst others. Hopefully Osti scares them off early doors.

Cardiff/Norwich but haven't checked dates- thought it might have been this year?

Great if we get something; just don't want a complete 'mess' of a performance before we face Rotherham. One thing that nobody seems to have mentioned/noticed is our recent sequence (not checked how far it goes back) of getting a result after a defeat but following the result with a defeat e.g...

Agree with all of that - we have suffered (including with Godden) with the need to get key players back, but then risking them breaking down due to not having the quality within the squad to ease them back more gradually.

I respectfully disagree. Looks like a Rolls Royce in this division to me, Can't comment on last season in the Pl, as didn't watch much of that. I'd take him for our side, though! See what you think of him after Saturday - hope he has a stinker!!

    Today’s games

The one (small) silver lining from Huddersfield's point of view re: the Rotherham game, is that they rested a fair number of players for last night's drubbing, so that they would be fresh for Rotherham (hadn't realised until I read their forum etc), although their defence will be feeling a bit...

Just about to post the same - will make a difference to a) the budget and b) who we are likely to need to replace re: people who we want to leave and possibly people who want to leave us.

Nobody is asking you to😂, but I know what you mean.

We all (mostly) love what Barnsley are doing, as you are cocking a snook at the so called bigger clubs and give hope to those with lesser budgets that you can still succeed. You will, though, get a gentle mocking on here, as it gives us something to do do between match days. Good luck for the...

Hope you are right Otis - I was trying to find a way to delete my earlier post saying Huddersfield play decent football 🤣 🤣 🤣

Hoping Huddersfield don't lose their heads and not be 'right' for the Rotherham game on Saturday. Norwich are different class, as we all know.

    Championship Standard Players

For me Sam has improved amazingly. From Herne bay to Championship in rapid time, He's quick, brave and good in the air, and still young and learning. Not sure why we think we can get much better than that - plus fits our model. Probably won't get him, but I'd be more than happy if he was here...

As big (if not bigger) signing as O'Hare if we got him. Think it's more likely that Sam McCallum re-signs for us.

    Reid, Tavares ....

Bearing in mind Tavares wasn't a first team regular at Rochdale - 18yo, and light as a feather, think he is effectively one we have taken a punt on developing. So in answer to your question, I don't know (y)
