    Budget and Value.

What I’m trying to say ‘though probably not very well‘ is despite not having the budget which many agree you need to do well in this league, we find ourselves (in my opinion) with 5 or 6 possibly more players in our squad that I wouldn’t want to swap with anyone at any other Championship club...

I agree, but I really think we could be an anomaly, as I say we have several players in our squad that would command a substantial fee ‘so although we didn’t spend millions to bring them here ’here they are anyway.

Narrow minded limitations. nah:unsure: I don’t like the IPad telling me where to stop, just don’t like being told what to do.

    Budget and Value.

I’ve been quietly confident all summer that this team is capable of doing very well this season, I realise we are only 2 games in but I’ve not seen anything yet to change my mind, still big players to return from injury and strength in depth throughout the squad. We seem comfortable and settled...

Who will start lwb on Sat against Barnsley

Definitely Gilles from the start with McCallum replacing him on 68 minutes to help protect a 1 - 0 lead, eventually running out 2 - 0 winners :)

Exactly, we’ve re-signed a player who played an integral part in our title winning season, we now have two very different and very capable LWBs to contest the position. I honestly don’t expect either one of them to go on and make the position their own, think Robins has every intention of...

Mason is a decent LB but clearly has issues playing at LWB and that’s the system we play, I’m sure he’ll be moved on and would be a decent accusation for a club that favours a more traditional defensive set up.

They play a very similar game to us so Mason would be a square peg in a round hole there as well. I don’t think there’ll be any lack of interest in Mason and think he could do really well at a club that use fullbacks in a more traditional way.

That’s why this place lost its way whilst the pubs were closed.

Gilles has shown already he offers something different, as I say I think both can and will play a major role in our season. Would you drop Gilles for Sam in the next game ?

    Sam mccallum

I can’t see the problem, our game depends on wingbacks, we now have two very good yet very different young LWBs, all this talk about guarantees of game time ‘there’s going to be plenty of opportunity for both to shine and often in the same game I suspect. In games where a more diligent...

Did you all meet up for a group sobbing session.

Well that’s patently untrue, plenty of people out there prepared to strive, promote and work toward an objective they completely disagree with in exchange for reward and position  look no further than BoJo’s cabinet for numerous examples.

    Mark Robins

Couldn’t agree more with the OP Robins has completely transfomed the club in every department, ability, belief, hope, expectation, integrity and a real sense of identity has surged through the club during his stewardship, this will not have been lost on SISU. Our main problem ‘however we fare...

Agreed, but you can lose and not have much faith that things are likely to improve anytime soon. We lost today but the way we played fills me with confidence that good times aren’t that far round the corner.
