    January transfer window

Prognosis for Walker was 6 weeks out. Think that was 4 weeks ago. Rose has the same injury as Allen had last year. Tried to come back and broke down again. Apparently due back in some training next week.

Because of the wage cap in League 1 his salary here would be above that I would suggest. Hence why it will probably be a loan in the first instance... With us making up the shortfall.

    Bournemouth

Record appearance holder in the Premier League for Spurs I believe. Bizarre how he attracted the nickname. Wilshere won't play ten games for Bournemouth.

    Striker?

I remember some people panicking last Jan because Oxford brought four players in. Not sure I'd be in favour of either of the above players

    Signings Incoming......

Anyone with any further update on Crowley or this now looking unlikely? I had come round to the idea of him joining.

    Ratings v Millwall

Really good team performance. Best I've seen us manage the clock at the end for ears. Thought Hamer and Sheaf were both excellent. I've been critical of O'Hare in recent weeks but thought he was also very good today. Shipley also showed what he offers - bravery to get beyond the striker and will...

    Jobello out for season

Interesting to see the progress that Duncan Watmore has made at Middlesbrough. I think, like Jones he did his ACL twice in two years then had a range of muscular injuries following rehab before being released by Sunderland. Seems to be approaching a very good level now. Apparently Premier League...

Worst game Hyam has had for a long time. Must be into double fugures the amount of times Sheaf has dropped us in it facing his own goal. To state the obvious though the biggest problem is creating anything. Struggling to remember the last time O'Hare created a chance let alone a goal. Wastes so...

Desperately need better attacking midfield options. Our back five and holding midfield options aren't bad but O'Hare, Allen and Shipley etc are absolutely miles off. O'Hare gets worse every game I watch.

    Walker

We've created nothing for him. The attacking midfield is by a mile our weakest area. Any striker would look shit for us at the minute.

O'Hare and Bakayoko I honestly don't think I could argue a case for anything above zero. O'Hare still looks so raw sometimes. Falls over constantly, runs into trouble and can't control the ball within 5 yards of himself.

In this formation and set up you can only really mark the centre backs and Hamer. The other lads don't touch the ball.

Possibly Jordan Thompson as Pask featured on the bench

    Hamer

Completely agree with all of this. Looks a cut above anyone else. Sees angles others don't. Great engine and a level of aggression you don't often see outside the Premier League.

    Would you have bright back?

Interesting reporting from the Peterborough end. Says Barry Fry confirmed he had spent time on trial. Played an u23s game last week but didn't feature in a similar game today. Reading between the lines it sounds like he may no longer be there.

    Hyam

The guy has made every step up seamlessly.

If any money can be made available for one player it should go towards an attacking midfielder preferably with pace.

2020s remaining fixtures for us and our rivals

Completely agree with this. Add to this the fact we hadn't played for six months and some players coming back from injury haven't had any preseason. We've done ok. We are improving and will pick up points from more beatable teams between now and the New Year.

    Match Thread Watford (A)

Very frustrating to lose to two poor goals but we played really well against a team who would probably have been favourites to win the league. We are only just getting up to match fitness after the six month break. December is crucial for our season. About eight games all against teams who you...
