Only watched the second half today (pub in Kenilworth on a small screen) so not able to contribute much other than GET THE FUCK IN. DONT YOU KNOW PUMP IT UP, THE CITYS GOING UP
To be fair, after 33 games we were joint 11th
What’s interesting is in April we lost back-to-back games to Notts County and Yeovil who are now both non-league and we might become championship. How quickly things can change in 2 years with Robins at the wheel ;-)
The difference is the pressure of winning is higher because it’s more likely the teams around you will win whereas at the bottom a win is almost an unexpected bonus
Even if we don’t go up, it has been a good season no matter where we finish now. I get that success is where you finish so you could argue if we don’t go up it’s the same as finishing 19th but football is about enjoyment and no matter where we finish now I’ve had the best value for my season...
Different players, different styles though isn’t it. He reminds me a little of Jordan Henderson in terms of playing style. Very much pass and move rather than dribbling past people but ZW would be a nightmare to match up against in midfield because he’s just always on the move.
No chance. Blackpool is an attractive away day under normal circumstances and Wimbledon has the same capacity as a Vauxhall Astra. Tbh though I think a few pubs with dodgy streaming screens in Cov will be just as fun.
You don’t appreciate on screen how bad those conditions were today. It wasn’t good, particularly the 20-45 mins. We did so well to keep playing the way we did.
There are players I don’t really rate, I don’t feel the need to constantly slate them. I don’t get why you’d go out of your way to be negative about a player that’s just scored a goal on a day to send us joint top. Are you really that bored?
Why do you have to compare him to anyone else? He’s just a good player in our current standing who is having an effective impact on the team? How is that not good enough for you?
