Suspect his wages would currently be miles above what we could offer. Suspect Chelsea may retain him. They very rarely let players leave at that age when they have invested so much in their development.

    Greatest ever City shirt

Remember as a youngster the old club shop outside the main stand at Highfield Road having a load of these laid out and selling them for £5.

    Walk out music

There was a short period around 1996 where in the midst of a relegation battle I swear we came out to Search for the Hero by M People.

In Dabo's defence it seems he has been rushed back from injury on a number of occasions so has struggled to maintain a level of fitness. Hopefully now we have a couple of other options at right wing back he can come back fully fit.

    Just curious but

Imagine if we could get some goals from the no. 10 position. Not a direct criticism of O'Hare but would be a massive lift to the team.

Reminds of Chris Stokes. In a good way. Solid and dependable. Think he will improve offensively once he settles in. Also last night was generally a very risk averse line up for the first hour.

    McNulty Article

After our first season in League 1 we lost five players who went to Championship clubs. Bright, Sterling, Luke Thomas, Chaplin and Bayliss. Not one of thems career has kicked on. For the record I thought we were in for a long season after losing so much talent and having a limited budget. I...

Honestly think he could have scored 15-20 goals in League 1 if he had stayed with us. Always thought Reading was a bizarre move for him as he had been a bit of a nomad before signing for us. His sale though along with the promotion and Maddison being sold to Leicester allowed the club to invest...

Seems to have got stronger this year, more aggressive and half a yard quicker.

    “Significant bids turned down”

It's always been overplayed this. QPR had too many loan players so needed to make one permanent. I doubt a pound changed clubs

    “Significant bids turned down”

Due to the model of the club we unfortunately will need to cash in on either Hamer or O'Hare at some point. As long as Robins gets some of the cash to reinvest that is the most important thing.

To state the obvious the difference was at the sharp of the pitch. You wouldn't back Allen or O'Hare to score a goal a piece between now and the end of the season.

I notice DaCosta liked the clubs post on Instagram about it being matchday. Hope nothing has happened to Kane

Ben Sheaf to get off the mark tomorrow. Be interesting to see who would be penalty taker if we get one.

Haha. Have experienced exactly the same over the years from my Villa mates. From the days of Darius Vassell, Darren Byfield and Richard Walker!

Don't pay too much attention to goalscoring records when young lads go out on loan to non league. It is all about getting them used to the physicality of mens football. Look at Callum Wilson's record at Kettering.

Sounds like Dion Sanderson is heading to QPR on loan. Not sure if he will have been registered in time for tomorrow if so.

In terms of Walker, I'm not sure I'd have wanted him leading the line on his own anyway.
