Many of the European signings haven't worked out but generally our recruitment has been excellent the last few summers. Especially given the budget restraints. All clubs recruitment is generally a mixed bag. Some horrendous money gets wasted in the Championship.

Technically I think he has some decent attributes (remember the half against Forest). Unfortunately his positioning and concentration often let him down. Be interesting to see how he does.

Shipley has been a brilliant servant to the club but today I think he showed why he should probably pursue his future at League 1 level.
