Ruud Van Nistelrooy applies for Coventry Job

Agents only let it be known their client is interested if he is interested. A client being rejected for the job does nothing for their reputation. if they don’t want the job but do want to alert other clubs of their availability they leak stories to the press, start doing press interviews etc...

Wow. Any idea who he normally has as is coaches ? Didn’t he fall out with 1 or 2 of them at PSV ??

Ruud Van Nistelrooy applies for Coventry Job

Yes. I’d be surprised if RVN came to Coventry, whether fans want him or not. This maybe in the thinking of the club. We don‘t want a long drawn out process where at the end we don’t get our man anyway and have alienated the other candidates.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy applies for Coventry Job

I think West Ham, Leicester, Everton, and Southampton will all recruit a new manager pre Christmas. I suspect RVN will end up at one of these, probably West Ham.

Right who's the next manager then?

Do we know if he’s taking a salary or dividends from the club ?? If not then he’s equivalently putting in £1m-£2m every year anyway.

Match Thread Supporter's Meeting with Doug King Match Thread

I don’t Clint but i also don’t find him confusing either. If i compare the club now to how it was under SISU i think King has done a good job.

Right who's the next manager then?

The head coach title is a red herring. It just means that recruitment doesn’t report into them ….. This is common place now ….. Almost all new new appointments are given the title head coach. For some reason some on here and in the Cov Tele have interpreted that incorrectly
