    Dave Busst

I played with an ex kidderminster harrier player (he was approaching 50) - his strength on the ball and powerful, accurate shooting (with very little back lift), just emphasised the difference in technique...and as you say, positioning and vision were in a different league to everyone else!

I met him once - played in the football aid game at Highfield Road (a few years ago....), I was on his team and he was absolutely brilliant. Despite his career ending injury, best player on the pitch by miles (can't remember who the other two ex cov players were). After about half an hour, he...

    Sky blue shop?

Yes, I thought they said that in the press release, just thinking that it might be an opportunity to move to a more central position, as the walk-ups from the games won't happen. (Though rent in the city will be more expensive!).

    Sky blue shop?

Just wondering.. As we aren't playing at the Ricoh next season, will we continue to have our club shop at the Tesco store? I'm sure someone has been past recently and will say the refit is going ahead (or the shop lease runs out soon).... We did used to have a shop in cathedral lanes (think...

Thanks Rob - yes that is my son (daughter enjoyed it too)! He trains with the Yeovil development side - I've just repeated your comments and he looks really chuffed! I'm taking him to the sbitc Easter course next week, which he will enjoy too!

    Superb mascot experience

Hopefully Pete, they will do a similar experience next year, as the club will have to go for even more PR. So, you should get to meet manager, players and have a kick around. (Thanks Nick for trying to keep the thread positive).

A final mention for Adam who looked after the mascots - he was great, knowledgeable and kind to kids!

    Superb mascot experience

Club were also excellent with the Bristol rovers fan. Would have cost 400 pounds at their ground but her dad has a friend who is a cov fan rang up sky blues. She had the same experience as the cov mascots (except she met the rovers managers and players), but was given two programmes and the ccfc...

    Superb mascot experience

Hello all, Kids were mascots today and they had a great time - club, manager, players and staff were all friendly and pleasant. Special shout out to Chaplin - we'd forgotten our sharpy to sign a t-shirt and he overheard us, so hehe rummag around in his kit bag and lent one. Really put a smile...

    SISU statement

I think after the vote today, we can blame brexit for delaying the talks! Surely the ricoh discussion should be the focus, not the backstop or customs union!

Transfer Rumour Looking at a GK (Tommy Taylor)

If he does, I'll hold no grudge. He stayed with us on the decline (when others left / had options to go) and has helped on the way up. Obviously, like him to stay, but, that's the modern game.
