Without data on number of people who “have died from covid” not died within 28days it’s impossible to say if we are at the point where it’s not a problem anymore. Certainly my experience in the past week is not something we should be locking ourselves away for any period of time for.
I tested neg yesterday and today, days 6&7 so I’ve been out for a run this morning. Blinking hard work but glad to be over it without really being ill. I was knackered for two days and had a cold/sore throat but genuinely had a worse cold just before Christmas.
This is my body battery for the last week. I first showed symptoms on Sunday. It knackered me out on Tuesday and Wednesday but the rest of the week really has shown how I’ve been with it.
If everyone was as mild as I’ve been then it would be the end of the pandemic for sure. Let’s hope this is a...
I don’t think you can get immune to it to be honest.
My Mrs had it in October and currently has it again.
She’s triple vaxxed but has still been rough both times. I’m struggling to see the point of vaccines, knowing two people who have had it and not been as ill as the mrs.
I’m still fully...
I felt worse from my booster last Wednesday than I do from having covid this Wednesday.
Does that mean the vaccine works? I thought it wouldn’t work fully for 14 days after the booster?
Colds and flu are types of coronavirus so it’s not really incredible is it.
Edit: apparently flu is influenza and not coronavirus. Just proves the misinformation on the internet. Apologies for confusion.
If everyone is only affected mildly like me at the moment then, yeah let everyone get it. I’ve had worse colds however I’m only a couple of days in and I am crapping myself that it’ll get worse.
I’m happy with the 7 days.
I started to feel rough Sunday, negative lateral flow both Sunday and Monday but positive today. With the 7 day rule I can be back out on Sunday if I test negative Friday and Saturday. That’s only a few days after my lateral flow and what will be 3 days after the pcr...
Well I was planning on getting back to it this week. I had a good run on Sunday but started to feel rough not long after.
Now got the dreaded covid so I won’t be going anywhere for a week or so.
The first bit is all good, reasonably flat. After the halfway point it noticeably undulating. Make sure you save plenty for the last km as it’s usually into a right twat of a wind. It’s a nice race though and you get free running socks.
