I think people are questioning whether he’s an upgrade on Thomas and Kitch, not the squad. On the few occasions I’ve watched him he would be an upgrade on Thomas.

The Woolf isn’t our primary CH target t Hughes. the club wanted both. Hughes to come straight in to the team, Woolf to provide competition … we may only get The Woolf but don’t expect him to come in and be a class above Thomas and Kitch.

We don’t know that Dovin improved as a keeper. We know he started off very nervously and got better as his confidence grew. Whether he was better than when we bought him we can’t judge.

BTA was poor again yesterday but Frank loves him. Every manager is the same, they all have a player that they believe in far more than the fans do, for Frank it is BTA. We could see their left back was their for the taking and Rapha or Tats would have given him far more problems second half...

Just my gut feeling …. We have been openly bidding for Hughes whilst still giving Woolfenden enough positive encouragement for him to push McKenna to leave …. If he’s burning his bridges at Ipsw it’s because he thinks Cov want him whether they sign Hughes or not ….
