As it stands we have a better squad now than when we exited last season, we have kept all of our best players, and we now own the stadium ….. It could still change with 3 hours to go but it’s been a very good summer for Coventry.

Assuming @Saddlebrains us right and Sheaf signed a new deal I wonder if it included a buy out clause and both parties agreed not to announce the new deal until after the window closed in case the clause was triggered ….

I agree but not as frightening as the drop off between sTats / EMC and Rapha or the gap between Kitch and Perry …. The gap in central midfield is more narrow than either wing or CH at the minute it’s not a perfect world you can’t just keep adding and not selling players

Maybe Frank is happy to go with Grimes, Torp, Rudi, Eccles, Allen, Andrews and Lati ( at a push ) as midfield options if it means he can bring in another winger or a centre half ….
