Think there's enough interesting young batsmen worth seeing. Slightly more concerned about the bowling options. But it is a test against a Pakistan side that can be very useful in 50 over cricket - certainly going to be more aggressive than Sri Lanka were. Wonder whether Hales gets a call as well.

Bit harsh, Not really been involved in overseas test side tours since 2017 Ashes when all the quicks were pretty average. England's overseas Test form been average at best for a while now.

Pickford deserves some credit - never been a fan myself - but kept well. Do like Phillips - think he brings something extra to that midfield.

I'm a big fan too. On his day a brilliant driver but just wonder whether the move to Renault was a paycheck move that coincided with Red Bull moving to a clear top driver strategy. Not sure he's as focussed as he used to be and that his time in F1 is probably nearing its end.
