Finances - a guess at where we are this financial year

Thought I would take a stab at summarising where we might be this current financial year to 31st May 2012 and what it will mean for that financial year It is a guess so I am happy for folk to put their own slant on the figures Income Look at the games played so far and total attendance is...

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

Lets be honest buying the stadium right now is highly unlikely, buying 50% of ACL almost as unlikely. It is all a distraction from the realities which are sorting out the finances we have got and staying in this division. Without that happening then £10m capital purchases are not going to happen!

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

CC4L owning 50% of ACL wont get us income anytime soon. Only way we could extract income by owning 50% of shares is by a dividend and with negative reserves accumulated so far those dividends cannot be paid. So there is no short term gain to free up purse strings. In fact if they have to pay...

    Meet the Manager

I can understand that the club want to ensure that they retain players, that we are not left with an exodus in the summer, that makes sense to some degree. There will be a lot of players looking for clubs in the summer because of the new rules coming in so there is a good chance of picking up...

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

last accounts show £17m loan from Yorkshire Bank still outstanding secured on all assets of ACL. Not due to be repaid in full until 2026. The charge itself would have been for £21m the original amount

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

As it stands the ground is already mortgaged..... ACL (charity & Council) took out £21m loan to develop the site. For SISU to mortgage the ground they would either have to take out a second charge but that wouldnt secure much money or to repay the existing loan and refinance (again unlikely to...

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

Not exactly sure Sub ..... there are all sorts of little plots round that area that could be dragged in

Would you trust sisu with the half ownership of the ground?

I think the more important statements are - The charity want complete disclosure of who the SISU investors are That the charity & Council require proof of a sustainable business at CCFC The Charity and Council expect the redevelopment of 5 acres adjoining - that adds to the cost of...

    Clarke

It is a pity he is injured. AT would have been able to rotate between him and Cyrus at right back which would keep them both fresh. What exactly is his injury ?

    Jeffers

Just wondered with all the comments regarding other strikers why Jeffers doesnt get even a place on the bench ? Scored two yesterday for reserve team How many goals has he scored for the reserves this season? Is he a better option than ROD ? Is he an option we should consider? If he isnt why...

    The slating of Andy Thorn

After saying that I thought AT got his post match comments wrong (i havent changed in that opinion) I think these comments are far more considered and better http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/bigirimana_will_return_stronger_and_better_709102/index.shtml

    team for doncaster(sat)

Question ...... (when available) would Bigi be worth a try at the tip of the diamond? Sure i read on another thread he had a good shot on him,..... certainly he can pass and retain a ball, is reasonably quick, plenty of energy & confidence. Has always been more defensive in our team I know but...

    The slating of Andy Thorn

Not heard many say that GB didnt mess up or that the tackle wasnt deserving of a red card NLHWC. Also dont think many would disagree that the manager should put the point across to him bluntly that he has got to be better than that. Radio interviews where AT is clearly angry and disappointed are...

    team for doncaster(sat)

per artricle on covmad he is playing in a reserve game today to see if fit

It's time for thorn to go.

Not advocating Thorne going BANANA i think we shouldnt change but hold up. The only reason we got Cody is because we had to sell Turner at what may well turn out to be a discount price, and it was Cardiff chasing him not AT selling him that made it happen. Dann money had nothing to do with AT it...

    team for doncaster(sat)

We dont know what sort of form McPake is in he hasnt played first team recently every one assumes he will step back in and be stronger than what we have big assumption. Hussey I thought had a decent game against Burnley but I thought Bell was anonymous in that game. Wood is a far better CB than...

    team for doncaster(sat)

Cheers CCFC. The reservation I have isnt about the going with the experienced players as such , its more that in general this season the senior/experienced players we do have have been a disappointment. Too often they have not stepped up to the plate and have gone missing. Hope they all decide...

    team for doncaster(sat)

seems like a fair shout to me ...... but I reckon he will play Bell instead of Thomas. It will be a choice between whether he plays Cameron or Christie and shuffle accordingly. Think where ever possible AT will go for the most experienced team he can get on the pitch and I am not sure that is...

    The slating of Andy Thorn

Got to agree Snoz if Deagan was injured there was no point him being on the bench because AT was never going to use him. If he did get on he could have been injured further so waste of a bench space. But there were other options eg Cameron. I dont think AT's thought process was very clear Saturday
