Match Thread Derby County - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 11th Mar

Agree with that - in addition, Derby seemed to have 3 or 4 men combatting the Sakamoto/ Milan threat, yet when we moved the ball away from that area, we offered nothing from the left (not Wright's fault that he isn't match fit, and like others, surprised he stayed on). I was disappointed that...

They showed M'Boro v Sunderland (on a Monday evening iirc). Can't remember the first game (about a month before, although I watched it!)

To be fair, Derby have a much worse injury list than we do. Think Yates is there only fit striker, and they've had a few ruled out for the rest of the season. Think Derby would snatch your hands off for a draw tonight.

No chance they'll keep Sainz or Sargent. The players will want to be off (see Gyok and Hamer)

    Point countdown

Calling it now, but if we beat Derby, and don't have an injury crisis, I think we'll make the play offs ( even if we pick up next to zilch in the Sunderland, Sheff U and Burnley games). It'll be tight, and people on here will have a meltdown if we lose those 3, but having the players fit for the...

    The winner

Although Thomas Asante got stick for losing the ball, leading to their opener, he did well shielding the ball and laying it off neatly to Grimes, in the lead up to the winner. Credit where it's due.

Agree - but their forum is generally 'reasonable' in terms of 'spats' and 'insults'. They tend to talk more about the actual footie (albeit at the moment they are unhappy, so it will be worse than usual)

Been on their forum (and Middlesboro's is similar) but they don't seem to have (allow?) posts like this. The Mackem's forum is similar to ours in terms of 'insults' / language. Assume it's down to our admin/moderators? Not grumbling, just an observation.

He's already called out the Stoke players as 'sh*t' in not so many words,; if he then tells them how good some of ours are, hopefully they'll be beaten before they kick off.

    Championship thread 24/25!

They are due to play Sheff Utd just before us, so hopefully will be up for that and crock aa few players in time for the play offs (assuming Burnley get 2nd)

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Remove the language if you must, but the sentiment is right. If you can't see how dangerous and unpredictable Trump is, I'm more than a tad surprised.
