The probability is one year of pain (on the pitch) for several (at least) years of prosperity on and off the pitch. A no brainer, although if we did go up and likely suffer, this forum will be a battleground!
If Plymouth/Luton are down by then, I'd be hoping we'd pick up at least one win from those. Even being miserable, I'd be surprised if we didn't pick up 11 points as a minimum.
Not sure how much it has been referred to, but that was one sexy bit of play, in the second half. Got a gasp from the crowd and started a rendition of 'When the samba rhythm starts to play' and rightly so. He's looking better week on week following his lay off.
They never laid a glove on us. Was wondering if it was because they were poor, but have to say our intensity and quality was first class. Best performance of the season, comfortably.
Norwich playing tippy tappy around the back and middle. Taking far too many touches in that area, when unnecessary. Their danger is up front. Get it up there more quickly and more often.
Not inconceivable that the 3 promoted from L1 last season could all get relegated. Plymouth, Derby, Oxford ???
Edit @Irish Sky Blue has correctly pointed out that it was Pompey, not Plymouth, last season. Mea culpa,
Starting to see only MBoro or Bristol City as the ones who could dislodge us. Everybody seems to be conspiring to mess up ( rather like the season before last) Admittedly still a long run in to the finish ( a Cheltenham reference to keep it topical) 🐎 🐴 🎠
