    Brian Roberts on CWR

Think that Dongle admitting that Thorn isn't a very good manager is as likely as hearing a farmer say "Mustn't grumble".

    3rd Jan 1998 FA CUP 3rd Round Liverpool 1 Coventry City 3

Think the next round was Villa away wasn't it? Won 1-0, Moldovan. Then it was Derby at home 2-0, strangely very easy, then of course Sheffield United.

    3rd Jan 1998 FA CUP 3rd Round Liverpool 1 Coventry City 3

One of my favourite games that, though gutted when Telfer scored to make it 3-1 at the end, had a tenner at quite good odds to win 2-1. Boeteng and Whelan awesome in central midfield that game, near the start of a fantastic run for us in League and Cup.

    Spurs - Watering Holes?

Is The Corner Pin still right outside the away end? Used to drink there just before the game in the old days, need one after the walk up the hill from Seven Sisters.

Form is temporary, on current form Crewe, Brentford and Bournmouth are above us, so that means that we are all better than League One now then? Didn;t say that McGldrick wouldn't score goals in the future in The Championship, just that he hasn't generally before scored many. If we signed him...

No it doesn't, our current position means we're a mid-table team in League One, one that I think would be a lower table team without a Championship level manager. Much as I like McGoldrick, he scores goals at League One level, but not the level above, ideal for us(and he should think for him as...

Being in a lower standard of football environment is bringing out the natural level of our players. I

That's been the problem with most of our signings over the last few years. They were supposed to be good in The Championship. Signing players who are League One standard(at best) inevitably means we'll reach that level, which we have.

General rule of thumb is every player playing for Coventry is brilliant, even if in reality they're a bit crap, unless somebody is pretty good and they get transferred elsewhere, when they then become crap and over-rated. Any deviation from these rules means that you are either a traitor and/or...

Jordan Willis has gone to the Boro on loan

He thinks that they are brilliant teams as his man could only manage draws against them.
