The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There is enormous wealth in London. Most people don't live in London. I didn't mention anything about distribution of wealth in the UK nor did I say the EU were responsible for it. Don't tell me what I will be arguing for, because you don't know me from Adam. If you're kids' future is European...

    Appeal Dismissed

Pardon me for interrupting the endless arguments again but is it today that those bastards who own our club have to get their appeal in in order to remove us from the Ricoh ? Sorry but it's ever so slightly important.

    Black Friday

Black Friday can f@ck right off. If only the yanks had been Spanish , French or anything but English speaking perhaps we wouldn't join in with yet another fad.

    The Apprentice 2018

The right one got fired this week. Posh and absolutely hopeless with it. Nice but dim, to coin a phrase.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You may well be right on these issues but for many who voted Brexit it doesn't feel like the country is ,for them , particularly affluent. Plenty of jobs on low pay around that's for sure. I voted Brexit. I'm older and better off than I've ever been. I voted for my kid's future.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Not taking any sides here, but many low paid migrant workers send their money home to their families in Eastern Europe. They may pay taxes here, but they don't spend their income the way most Brits do. Four Billion pounds left the country last year and went to families abroad. That money could...

Gibraltar : I think that's the last straw for me . We leave with no deal and then invade Spain. Serve them right.

    Memorable Sky Blue debuts...

for better of for worse..... For me it was Tony Dobson. I'm sure it was against Liverpool at Highfield Road and I remember thinking he never put a foot wrong and made one of the most assured performances I 've ever seen in his position by anyone since.

I've never done either. I bow to your personal experience on this one.

    Appeal Dismissed

Anyway, sorry to interrupt the in house bickering, but when is the actual cut off date for SISU to appeal the appeal. I though it was 12 November but I heard Clive on CWR mention he thought it was 16th. Anyone know for sure ?

    Footballers with socks above knees....

Can you imagine Stuart Pearce with socks over knees? If we went back to short shorts the players of today would simply oik their socks right up to their mid thigh. Perish the thought.

I bet he didn't bloody swear as much as my dad. I worked there one summer, in 1982 I think, when I was at Uni. I swore like a trooper by the end of August.

    Footballers with socks above knees....

My dad thought himself a bit of a man's man when I was a kid: loud, opinionated and very un-p.c. by todays standards. He'd go to work at Dunlop in Radford, work long hours, then do the pub, a few beers, get into an argument about workers right, immigrants, swear a bit, down a couple of bags of...

    London stabbings...

You'd think this would be common sense really wouldn't you ? You'd think the police would give Russell Square a miss if the problem was in Tottenham Hale. I watched the debate this morning and although the bloke from the charity who worked with the black community is far more in the know than I...

    Breakaway European League.

There've been rumours that some of the big clubs in England have been in talks about this for some time . If we were in the premier league I'd probably think differently but to be honest over the last few years I've not followed it much at all. The financial impact on the Premier League might...

    How Healthy Are You ?

I must admit I can't control this at all. At no time does my brain say "stop, you're full" I simply drink more tea and with it come a hundred weight of the sweet stuff. I'm not addicted and in fact don't go out of my way to buy them, but when I do , a packet of biscuits has gone within 24hours...

    Coventry city centre

Hahaha, I forgot. It's not in the city centre because its the wrong side of the ring road. Just how long does it take to walk from the canal basin to broadgate? If that's the case the train station is in the wrong place as well. I'm not whinging, I'm simply being realistic. You need to come out...
