Your points are all over the place. Sack him, give him time, now sack him again. It's a proven fact that our constant firing of managers hasn't worked. But I'll play along. Who would you like to replace him with ?

He was (unfairly) less than complimentary about someone else's blog. Which is always ill advised when your own isn't perfect. He edited it, so fair play to him.

You're either offended or selective...you missed 'trying too hard'. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad. When you're 'playing with words', don't lose focus on the subject matter. Just an opinion.
