What happened to the whole 'In TM we trust' thing? Is that just for when we are winning?

    madders gone

It's disappointing to lose a player with the talent and potential ability he has, but it's certainly not the end of the world. He's not even had a full season in L1, and since returning from injury he's hardly set the world alight. It's a suprising move for Norwich, a team involved in a...

    Ryan Kent: Part Eleventy Billion

I would say we are missing an attacking, pacey winger, with the ability to take players on, rather than Kent himself. If Murphy is having a poor game and we want to replace him, there is no alternative. It's the same scenario if we want to start with two quick wide men. We need a pacey...

    Phillips

Phillips certainly seems error prone, be it directly like today or indirectly i.e. giving away a penalty. Note of caution with Lorentzson, we seem to be pinning a lot of hope on him, but he's an unknown quantity in this league. I'm sure he will be a great signing but let's not heap piles of...

Not sure I understand the RCC, Bigi and Stokes negativity.

Murphy isn't in the game at all, but bringing him off removes all midfield pace.

Agreed. The few times we have threatened them has been a result of running at/behind them. If we quicken the tempo we have a real chance of scoring. Easier said than done I know.

Fantastic news, an attendance of 17/18/19 can make a difference today. It will both spur on our players and potentially intimate Burton, who are used to playing in front of a few thousand. Sort of, maybe, hopefully. I think I'm just excited.

I agree, whichever front four option TM goes for, all combinations are capable of besting any defence. I hope he goes for the finesse option i.e. Cole, Maddison, Lameires.

If it's a choice between which full back to drop to accommodate Ramage, for me it would be Haynes. Phillips pips him for experience and has showed signs of improvement recently. He's a safer bet (despite his love of make reckless challenges). The issue with that solution is the lack of pace...

It will be interesting to see Hunt play (it's always exciting seeing new players, especially those with a good pedigree) my only concern is his fitness. Am I right in thinking he has been without a club since summer? Similar situation with Ramage, but not so concerning as he's had longer with...

Front four of: Lameiras Cole Maddison Armstrong Promises lots of creativity and fluidity but probably a lack of width and certainly pace. It will be interesting to see how TM plays it, it's certainly hard to get Cole and Maddison in the same team without playing one out of position.

    booing

That's the issue with fair weather fans. Not to generalise, but based on those near me over the last few games, the routine tends to be: arrive, talk about what a massive fan you are, get names wrong, critisize everyone based on 10 minutes observation, get increasingly frustrated, leave...

Also, what does Rubén have to do to get a game? Surely his creativity and link play should be used more than it currently is. Even if that's 20/30 minutes at the end of a game.

I actually thought Haynes and Phillips had better games than usual, I'm not doubting they can perform at a level, but that level is not strong enough to start in a team chasing automatic promotion. For someone known for his attacking intent, Haynes was incredibly tentative today, I can't...

They look average so far, the few passing spells they have had show they have another gear. We need to keep pressing - they look uncomfortable when we do. I would like to see both JM and RL at around 60 minutes. Their movement and vision will cause issues against their nervous back line.
