    Forum..

This is absolutely the point which is not really being picked up on. No ground share can be sanctioned until we are out of administration, and admin can take a very long time to sort out. Time is not something we've got much of as the new season approaches. Someone made the point that there have...

Stuart Linnell here, if anyone wants to talk

Thank you for your reply Stuart, and for taking time to come on here, but, with respect, I think you are way off the mark with your assumption that the wider fan base and those who are "out of the habit" of coming "simply don't care". I personally think that the majority of fans - attendees or...

Stuart Linnell here, if anyone wants to talk

    1. What is your opinion on the club apparently buying land with no planning permission or even plans drawn up, and 2. do you think that MOST of the fans support SISU as I believe you have stated?

Gut feel - does anyone really think we won't start 2013/14 at the Ricoh?

Timewise, we must be very close to the time when the League need to know where we're playing - probably any day now. The fixture compilers can't do their job without knowing what they're dealing with. Any ground share would obviously have to fit in with the fixtures of the ground owners, and it...

W.Brom 7-1 CCFC, long way home - I remember it well

Remember this one. County were brilliant that night and the West End applauded their last goal.

W.Brom 7-1 CCFC, long way home - I remember it well

Did anyone who went to this game not have a disaster?! I was 15 and had saved my £1.70 a week paper round money to go to my first away game on my own. Got a train to New Street and several wrong buses to eventually get to the ground late and already 2 nil down. Same nightmare journey back to...

    A Cunning Plan

Refusing to go to any more games and give the club any more money is a drastic move which would ultimately strangle the club, but haven't we now got to the stage where euthanasia is the only answer? The club is dying, - we must surely still be haemorrhaging money with no notable incomes as it...

    Is that the planning department...?

CCFC: Hello, is that the Planning Department? COUNCIL: Yes. CCFC: Hi, Coventry City here, we’d like planning permission to build a new stadium please. COUNCIL: Didn’t we give you permission for a new stadium about 10 years ago? CCFC: Yes, but we’d like to build another one please...

    Phil Brown

Seems we can rule him out now. His first comment in an interview on Talksport this morning was about being fed up at being overlooked for a couple of jobs he'd applied for.

    New £30m stadium in pipeline

Really, that will never ever happen in a million years.

    New £30m stadium in pipeline

They're all going mad ffs. Never, EVER in a month of Sundays will any planners in South Warwickshire sanction the building of a football stadium. Where ffs?!! Stoneleigh?? No chance! More madness to make our beloved club look ridiculous. We sold our ground and had a new stadium built, but we...

    robins

Has anyone considered that the next kick in the teeth might be him pinching some of our players?

    From sky sports reporter

It's ok everyone, you can stop worrying! Robins won't leave, he said so a couple of weeks ago, look he said this... Coventry City manager Mark Robins has fully committed his future to the Sky Blues following speculation linking him with the vacancy at Doncaster Rovers. "Absolutely I can put...

The Official JPT home leg tickets sales thread

Spoke to someone this morning with a "Ricoh contact" who reckons Crewe have sold less than 300. Would make sticking them in the corner and opening another block viable.

    Biggest Sky Blue support since?

There was an FA Cup 3rd round game in about 1978/79 v West Brom. Midweek match (re arranged I think from a Saturday postponement). 38,000 there that night. I think we got a late equiliser from Alan Green. In those days we had "the cage" in the corner for away fans which held maybe 3000 max, and...

Yeah. It's on Friday (though could've been Sunday) cos Wednesday are playing Saturday. :p

The JPT - Attracting the Next Generation of Sky Blue Fans

Absolutely. The downside of your kids becoming City fans is (through my experience) it can limit the number of games you can afford to get to. Kids tickets are cheaper I know, but taking two newly converted youngsters can double the cost of attending.

Winning after being behind twice...and the Brazilian kit

Really? Bad news imo. A bit undignified and makes us look like a bunch of amateurs trying to cash in on past glories. The team are gaining respect plus are used to the yellow kit and playing really well in it. If it's not broke don't fix it.

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

Maybe we should stop thinking that ACL need CCFC to survive. Think about it; without the pitch part of the complex there's potential for more exhibition halls, more hotel rooms, and further development at a prime site a stone's throw from the M6, to create a conference and exhibition venue to...
