    new season prediction

We will win the league and all have the season of our lives. Robins will become a Coventry hero, atoning for his betrayal a few years ago. We do the double by winning the Checkatrade (or whatever's its name this year) again. NOPM will cease to exist.

    Hola Espana

Genuinely quite tempted to organise a weekend away with the lads around this time and location....I just won't explain the reasons, based on the fact I'm the only idiot who supports Coventry.

City to receive around £20,000 from EFL futures programme?

Turnbull is only 22?! Didn't realise that. Even less reason for fans to write him off.

    James Collins

If there were two like for like offers on the table (or even a lightly reduced package), he would chose us. He's been a Coventry fan forever and was really unlucky not to have made it at our academy. I would have no concerns at all about him playing for the badge etc. He might be the target man...

    James Collins

This is more than just a rumour. Whether it goes through will depend on finances. He's a target man type striker and he'll improve our team. It gives another option too, which isn't a bad thing.

Chris Stokes signs 2 year deal!

Brilliant news. On paper the following is a really strong back line for L2: DKE Willis/Turnbull McDonald Stokes I really hope Bigi signs next and if Thomas does too, I'm lumping a stupid amount on us winning the league.* *definitely my heart not my head talking but I don't care.

Why have the signings stopped ?

    Is this thread actually serious?

    ST sales

I renewed a few weeks ago and I'm (genuinely) looking forward to next season. I appreciate that feeling may have completely disappeared by September (as is the case most seasons), but based on Robins ability and his actions transfer/contrast wise, we have more reasons than usual to be hopeful...

    Dion Kelly-Evans Signs

Good player and another with an affinity and passion for the club - exactly what we need to get out of L2. He will be targeted with long balls due to his statue, but he more than makes up for it in other areas. I agree with the earlier post, if we get Stokes and Bigi signed that would be...

    Explosions at Manchester Arena

Jesus, getting very close to home now.

    Explosions at Manchester Arena

I think you've misunderstood my post. I think it's absolutely sickening, my point around right wing rants is that this will potentially be used by extreme right wingers to claim all muslims are terrorists etc. Not taking away from the severity of the event or the anger, frustration and hurt...

    Explosions at Manchester Arena

Condolences to those affected. It's a horrifying, pathetic and cowardly attack. This will no doubt give the right wing justification for their racist rants, where, as has been the case throughout history, it's the minority ruining the reputation of the majority, all in the name of 'religion'...

    4th signing - Monday - Liam Kelly

Another good signing on paper. I wonder if that's to rotate with Doyle alongside more of a playmaker/technical player? Promising start to next season, especially as this one hasn't officially ended!

    4th signing - Monday - Liam Kelly

If it is Baker, then I'd be happy with the signing. He's a proven player at this level, he's experienced and he cares for the club. Saying that, it would still feel anti climatic if the build up was for someone we've been linked with since the moment he left!

    McNulty, McDonald, who's next?

Could be interpreted as such, depends on the mindset of the reader.... And just to clarify, I'm following my girlfriend around while she looks at every item in the shop and McSheffrey is doing the same with his partner.

    McNulty, McDonald, who's next?

Literally looking at McSheffrey now, as I follow my girlfriend around Central Six. He looks as bored as I am. Doubt there's much to it, other than he still lives in the Coventry area. Hope not anyway.

    Bye bye Saturday

Pathetic power trip move. Maybe they've worked out they can give away even more free tickets if they play on a Saturday.

Lose the Gut Thread (Following on from New Year's Resolution)

Is untapped worth it then? I downloaded it while I was on holiday over the summer as it was advertised everywhere, but when I got home I didn't really get much from it, so I assumed it was more of an American thing. I did recently re download it as there's a fantastic tap room in Hinckley (!!!)...

Lose the Gut Thread (Following on from New Year's Resolution)

I can fairly happily eat healthily; weetabix/porridge for breakfast, cous cous/sushi/salad for lunch, meat/fish with veg/rice for dinner, it's the drinking that really prevents me from the whole toning aspect. As much as I would love to have the elusive "beach body" as I did when I was younger...

    3rd Signing - Rod McDonald

It's currently 13/1 for us to win L2 on Sky Bet. Definitely worth a few quid.....
