Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

I can understand the insurance bit completely... We just had an internal auditor round recently and as a result of that we have had a new notice up explaining that we are covered for employer liability or some such thing. Specifically mentions which company we are I assume for the avoidance of...

Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

So no, not category one then :facepalm: I feel sorry for the Charity, must be wondering why they bothered in the first place now. Still an asset to the local community though looking on the brighter side.

Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

So we've now left a facility that was purpose built to such a high standard for us by the charity, so not content with screwing over the current squad by moving to a tiny ground so FFP really bites us, we're also doing it to the future squad - Brilliant  Or are we moving to Category...

Supporting the team is not supporting the owners.

I support the team not the owners and they won't be getting another penny of my money. If I can get to an away game I'll be there shouting myself hoarse but I'm not going to Northampton for a home match.

This episode has been painful but necessary

If I were Mr Cardoza I'd be wanting a bond put into escrow equivilant to at least four matches worth of rent and then payment of the rent upfront preferably by bank transfer before any home match.

The Greater Good (Sorry watched Hot Fuzz last night. I'm feeling a bit depressed now and felt a bit of humour was needed on here)

we support the groundshare - sign here

I'm not going to criticise someone for wanting to watch their team and I'm not going to do so if they do go and watch Home matches at Northampton. However just because of the above it doesn't mean I support their decision or indeed agree with it.

If there are two sides to this then I believe those posts are the oposing side - I haven't expressed an opinion of my own on this thread yet.

I refer you to post 29 which explains why the points the OP made are mostly wrong or one sided. http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/32969-This-episode-has-been-painful-but-necessary?p=478673&viewfull=1#post478673 and post 33...

Shame that the soon to be owners of our club Otium don't seem to have a very good rating http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/32055-preferred-bidder-is-sisu?p=462587&viewfull=1#post462587

Wasn't aware that the NEC were that interested, do you know something we don't?

Thanks to SISU they might find getting a loan a bit more difficult than before the rent boycott. I haven't seen anything about the credit rating of ACL though so it may still be okay.

Where have I said that? ACL may well be able to survive without the club but as the Ricoh was built for the club why would we not play there under new owners? The presence of the club at the Ricoh doesn't seem to me and I may be wrong on this to prevent the Ricoh from being used most days of the...

What I thought and I may well be wrong on this is that our club doesn't get much in the way of revenue outside of the season* by virtue of the fact that we aren't playing matches. Therefore the reason for building up the Ricoh as a business is so that when the club finally passes into the...

Don't think ACL makes enough to support the club year round yet.

    Pkh

Don't think ACL have had the funds to do it and from memory the idea is to give the club revenue year round not just during the season.

    Looking at the bigger picture

Never said that to the best of my knowledge. Ooh and just a thought if PH4 appeared on the scene maybe the council saw someone willing to pay more for ACL and decided the amount that SISU were offering wasn't nearly enough. Was just about to post "Go for it PH4" in the Trust meeting thread...
