Hiwula making good runs as ever. Poor poor shot from Thomas, he’s so so infuriating.

That few minutes epitomises our season; Burge messes up (but this time at least got away with it) and Thomas does the hard work and missed an easy chance. Let’s hope we don’t regret it.

I don’t see this as one sided as others on the thread. We really shouldn’t be worried about anyone, we’ve said all season we have some very good technical players, and with MR allowing them to be more offensive recently I think we have a strong chance today. Especially as the players have to be...

What’s the last bit of the chant? Two horrible misses from Hiwula (as much as I like him). Our final decision/lack of clinical finishing is as evident as ever today.

Not sure why anyone is panicking, they look incredibly poor. Scannall is an obvious stand out, but one player doesn’t make a team.

I agree McCallum isn’t having a great game, but Sterling is nowhere near where he was earlier in the season. I’d prefer to see a youngster given a chance. Or even Grimmer if there’s any chance he’s staying next season.

You’re not, I made the same point earlier in the thread.

Sterling is off the pace again. I’d prefer to see a youngster who will be here next season given a chance.

I genuinely remember having a debate with you after a game before Christmas about Hiwula. From memory you believed he offered nothing to the team and no redeeming attributes. That’s not intended as wind up post, it’s refreshing to see you have changed your view.

You’d assume Brown is leaving in the summer, so why play him when we could give the experience to someone who is obviously highly rated.

I know we say it every week but our pitch is so so poor and is detrimental to our style of play. Burge started as confident as ever.... Much prefer Shipley in the middle. Ropey start but fans need to calm down a bit, they are obviously going to massively up for it. We’ve started slowly but...

My girlfriend flew to Prague today for a girls weekend. Coincidence I hope!

Definitely shorts weather today. Early kick off is ideal too; beer gardens will still be warm after our victory too. Optimistic of a victory and however unlikely it is, at least we can still remain slightly hopeful of a play off miracle. Really hope the atmosphere doesn’t spoil the game today...

For the reasons we did well today not being present; poor pitches and at times an over cautiousness from MR. I appreciate we can’t control the pitches we play on away from home (or even at home for that matter), but when we are set up to play football, use our technical superiority and attack...

What a game! Please hold on! Shows what a difference a decent pitch makes to our style of play and how good an attacking team we actually are. Let’s hope MR takes this style forward to next year and wherever we’re playing has a flat pitch. It should also give us confidence ahead of next year...

If that happens we should start a campaign to do just that (even if it’s only at Higgs) to show Wasps, Council, everyone exactly what the club means to the City.

    Rumour...

I really hope not, neither appeal to me in any way. Although to be honest, I’m not sure where does (other than the Ricoh obviously). I’d probably prefer a smaller ground (Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington etc) closer to Coventry than an established one where the facilities may be ready to go, but...
