We’re getting too exposed down our right hand side now. Not sure the thinking being the sub.

Ah, that’s why you’ve resorted to criticising Baka so much. Makes sense. And before you reply with ‘he’s shit’, I really don’t think he has been that bad today. Granted he just missed a sitter.

The Baka volley was bad, but he was offside anyway so wouldn’t have counted. Aside from that he’s looked better than previous games. And to be fair to him and Max, they seem more isolated than they should on this formation. Being pessimistic, you would say this is another of the numerous games...

Looked a pen to me. Why would he go down otherwise?! Anyone on ifollow confirm? Not sure why their are negative comments re Watson, I’ve been really impressed. I agree the midfield two are too deep and O’Hare doesn’t seem to be occupying the space in between, or at least isn’t on the ball...

Rose and Hyam have forgotten how to pass, which is a bit of an issue in a formation where they see a significant amount of the ball. I feel for McCallum as a lot of the time when he gets the ball he has no easy inside ball so is forced to go backwards. Watson is better than I expected.

Anyone who shouts ‘Forward’ should be instantly removed from the stadium. Absolutely moronic.

I know it’ll disappoint a few, but Baka has started well.

The Ref looks about 12. Let’s hope he’s a young up and coming ref who actually knows what he’s doing, rather than the usual shit ones we have.

Disappointed bench - no real game changers. I’m looking forward to today though; it’ll be good to see two up front. As I’ve said on other threads, you shouldn’t underestimate the impact that has on a striker. I’m especially looking forward to everyone’s favourite boo boys being our strike force...

    Gael biggy

Never understood the hate I always rated him. He lost his way, confidence and form moving to Newcastle and never really recovered.

    Bakayoko

I really don’t think you can underestimate the difference playing two up front makes to a striker. And, like it or not, add the influence of Biamou up front and I think both Hiwula and Bakayoko will look better players. Not interested in another debates re stats on with/without Biamou, but him...

    Free Agents ?

Suggesting 4-4-2 and dismissing our 3 strikers completely. Bit early to be pissed isn’t it?

Match Thread Peterborough United vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 26th Oct

Surprised at some of the negativity on this thread. Absolutely a frustrating way to draw, but it’s a very good result away from home and against a free scoring and on form team. I’ve said it repeatedly this season; we are a very good team. We have had issues scoring goals, but we’ve also...

    Wide open

Completely forgot he even existed! Where do you see him fitting in? And will he be an enhancement to the current starting XI?

It is, as you mentioned something which had nothing to do with my post. You love moving the goal posts, it’s a solid tactic it works a fair bit for you. Sean Flynn.

Classic response. Why don’t you reference some obscure player from 20 years ago to complete Grendel bingo.

McFadzean was awful, Biamou was so unfit he was useless, we’re getting relegated and I look forward to MR being sacked. Absolutely embarrassing stuff on here. Love the defeatists being proved wrong.

Two up front, more than three in midfield and some experience throughout the team makes a massive difference, namely attacking impetus. Followed by a goal which has increased our confidence massively. Let’s see this through please chaps. Bet this forum will be quiet if we do.

Change of formation and more attacking impetus and we suddenly look a million times better. Bakayoko had an anonymous first half but what a strike. Don’t get the McFadz hate, it took me a while to see it but he does offer something. Granted his form has dipped but he’ll come back. Bet people...
