Are you a regular at the Ricoh

Season ticket holder, used to go to around 10 away games a season but that has declined last 2 seasons

Would ACL buy CCFC if we went into admin and no buyer came forward?

As the Council own 50 % of ACL I don't think it could happen. Is it not a bit of a gray area for a local authority to fund a private company?

The demise of our club : Is our anger misdirected?

Is this not the sort of thing that makes politicians think were all stupid? In 2003 CCFC would have gone bust if they hadn't sold their share in ACL to the Higgs trust, something that the Council had to approve. I remember polls being conducted by the telegraph/mercia saying that 90% of people...

    Fire Safety Certificate

Again this says it will only be a banner if it is over 150cm x 150cm. Bring one in at 149cm x 149cm and there is nothing they can do. It is still a decent size, enough to be seen.

    Midlands Today Crowd Trouble

You do have to question why this game required a police presence at all. I thought nowadays it was only when there is a rivaly between teams. It was hardly going to kick off against Derby County. Waste of money having all those police there.

Disgusting stewards and their pathetic excuses.

Of course were a family club. We must be the definition of a family club. I would say 99% of us on here were introduced to Coventry City by an older relative.

    First win of the season

Well we do agree on something then!

    First win of the season

So do you agree then that Sisu had a poor business plan from the start? The financial collapse began 3 months before they took over so they cant really use that as an excuse.

    First win of the season

I'm not so emotionally unstable that I am suddenly delighted to be a city fan when we win 1 game. Winning 1 in 9 is not something to be happy about, never seeing your team do anything of note is not something to be happy about, the prospect of relegation is not something to be happy about. I...

maybe we should take a leaf out of Gael Biggies book

Whilst I admire his belief, and anyone elses, after supporting CCFC for over 20 years I think all my faith has been used up! They've let me down to many times, from now on I just expect them to lose then if they do win its all the better.

    First win of the season

But at what point do we stop 'steadying the ship' and then move forwards? We need to know what the plan is. If its just this forever more then we might as well go bust because I can't remember the last time I've been happy to be a city fan.

    First win of the season

We don't know how much were losing, the figure keeps changing. Stats would suggest the squad is worse than when they took over, we might play nice football now but results need to follow. As good as yesterday was we need to remember that was 1 game. With regard to the accademy we have always...

    First win of the season

When Sisu took over we were 11th in the league, had an average attendence of 20k & owned the training ground. I'll admit that the previous owners were worse and are still to blame for the current mess, but to try and suggest that we are improving is ridiculous. Please explain to me how we...

    First win of the season

Well you've just proved my own point there. If we had lost, won, or drawn then it will be down to what happens on the pitch not in the stand. Who exactly are you blaming for this disruption anyway? The only thing the fans did was have a small bed sheet in the CET stand. Are modern footballers...

    First win of the season

Hows if failed logic? If we had lost yesterday you would all be claming the protests were the reason.

    First win of the season

They can't be that disrupting if we won. If we don't show passion for the club why will the players?

    Rules on Flags and banners

He stated that it's the same at every ground, therefore using Middlesboro's guidelines should be the same as ours. Middlesboro states that it is classed as a banner when over 150cm x 150cm. So whatever way you look at it he has lied.

Disgusting stewards and their pathetic excuses.

We can get a flag with a fire certificate. Like to see what excuse they come up with then.

Disgusting stewards and their pathetic excuses.

    A. If its 'law' it doesnt matter if were Middlesboro, Coventry, Rugby Town. Stadium saftey laws are not set by individual clubs, they are set by the heath & safety exec. B. Points 1 & 2 prove the point that they were taken away because the club didnt like what they said, nothing to do with safety.
