SixReasons Not To Go To Sixfields this Sunday - updated in response to comments!

ACL could just become a 100% subsidiary of the club and run the stadium, the only people who would lose their jobs would probably be board members and those are likely to be unpaid and part time. But what if that sale price of the freehold that allegedly Joy demanded for any chance of our...

    In sickness and in health

Okay question for you, if what ACL claim Joy allegedly said about the club not coming back to the Ricoh unless she has been sold the freehold at her price is true and her price was derisory (say less than the Higgs share cost them to purchase from the club) what are the council supposed to do?

That's the Academy they wanted to shut down under Ranson and then moved out of the near purpose built home to Warwick Uni. As I said in another thread if that goes we're well and truly screwed and will be playing in League 2 sooner rather than later unless a miracle happens.

Have you ever heard of Godwin's law?

Shocking, I hope they paid by credit card and can get their money back if no tickets emerge.

Yes but at the same time if SISU spot that your average Sky Blues fan would rather go and watch an event in their home city rather than head 35 miles to Sixfields it might encourage them to drop their NOPM against ACL. It would also show that they can't distress ACL out of business that way and...

Yeah but you could walk to the ground then.

I've been saying for sometime that we need a full independent enquiry into this whole affair.

That may yet happen. ;) Probably more likely though in the first instance that they'd approach schools and try to fill Sixfields that way with either free or heavily discounted tickets. They need to show a fuller stadium to try and break the taboo factor in supporters minds of going to NTFC to...

Must be desperate full spread in Tele

Well we've only had one game so hardly enough of a sample size to be statistically accurate about any trends. But I would have thought that given the numbers at the first match Tim has good reason to be worried, but not sure about desperate - yet. If they can't attract a sizeable number of...

If they have had letters from SISU lawyers it would go some way to explain why some perfectly acceptable comments wanting SISU out were removed from the telegraph site under articles.

No they've got a dominant market position in everything but mobile devices and unless we all stop buying products with Microsoft OS pre-installed then they'll do okay. Can't see a shift over to Linux from your average computer users, although Apple might take a larger bit out of the laptop sales.

Actually sales of the Microsoft Surface have been so abysmal that they've written down nearly a billion dollars related to just the RT version of the product. A billion is a lot even for a company of that size, but made even worse as this was more than they sold of both the RT and the Pro and...

    The Academy

If we don't have an academy then it looks even more likely that we'll be playing fourth division football in the not too distant future. Given buying big money players is out, the squad needs to be grown organically by youngsters from the Academy supported and coached by experienced older...

Interesting I was on a train when that was broadcast if it was the match directly after the ownership meeting. Wasn't aware that Mr Labovitch was at that meeting but it appears certain that Tim wasn't.

    Ref's and Jimmys Hill

Kirkland getting sent off at Chelsea in 2000, we went on to lose 6-1 and then got hassled by the stewards for celebrating our goal. Absolute disgrace especially as Hasselbaink talked to the ref before the red card telling him Kirkland hadn't touched him and replays showed the same. The red card...

SixReasons Not To Go To Sixfields this Sunday - updated in response to comments!

Well it's interesting to not that it's never been denied by SISU/Joy and you would have thought with her preference for legal action if there was anything defamatory in the statement (i.e. any of it was untrue) then she would have picked up the Hotline to her lawyers and got them moving.

Well according to ACL, Joy allegedly said that we wouldn't be coming back to the Ricoh unless she got the Freehold at her price. We've heard nothing from Joy/Tim/SISU/CCFC on this matter since that meeting - have we?

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

The issue is that SISU appear to be taking a leaf out of our book and doing a NOPM campaign against ACL, if SISU wanted to play back at the Ricoh then they could have just accepted any of the deals that were on the table previously. Those deals wouldn't have helped distress ACL and therefore was...
