I understand that, was just pointing out that crowd tomorrow will be bigger than what most people think.

Questions for Waggott and Fisher at the Trust open meeting

Couldn't care. More important things at stake than settling old scores now I think. Some really interesting stuff coming out of this meeting now. A united front between CCFC and Cov RFC? I fear it's all too late. Horse has bolted. Anne Lucas wins.

    Ex-politician I think. Talking sense.

If our attendance tomorrow is less than 8000 I will eat my own foot. Asked in the TO today and they said they are expecting 10K.

No, it's idiotic in the extreme and an absolutely terrible deal for the Coventry ratepayers (it represents a very modest return on the amount invested). The City Council own swathes of land all over Coventry that they could sell on at any given time and fill their coffers, but they choose to...

When you have a 50 year lease it amounts to the same thing.

It's this the fete of this city's football club we're talking about here. And the CEO of ACL is against the sale so we're led to believe - it is being forced through by the other board members i.e. the council/Higgs. Yeah, let's relinquish control of the civic 'asset' we have bleated on about...

Questions for Waggott and Fisher at the Trust open meeting

On the contrary, he'd be laughing. All the stick he received about Sixfields and there he is sat in front of the same people who dished it out now gleeful at the prospect of another historic club being ripped from its supporters. Who is there representing us tonight? Shame on them.

But isn't everyone in agreement that a new stadium will never happen? If that is their justification for this nonsense then they are more stupid that I thought.

    New stadium - Let's suppose for a minute ....

Within the city boundary it wouldn't be major issue, unless it was a nature reserve or something similar. It's when you encroach into greenbelt at the edge of the conurbation that you run into problems. If you incorporated housing and employment provisions into the application I doubt the...

What? Of course people can see that. Are you stupid? But why does that mean we all have to sign up to the utterly pointless and damaging sale of ACL to a group of businessmen with an agenda that is not known? Are ACL losing money? No. Why would the council sell needlessly and expose the...

That's wishful thinking on a epic scale though. I doubt for one minute the consortium has any interest in the football club other than to use it as a cash cow. If there was the remotest chance of that it would have leaked out in order to soften opinion. This will be a game changer, it will...

What are you waffling on about? You have contradicted yourself so many times in order to justify your indefensible position that you are beginning to make a tit of yourself. "If it means the Ricoh still exists for Cov to play then I don't care"...give me strength. Why, are ACL about to go...

The council stance is idiotic and wreaks of short-termism. It makes no commercial sense. Council's in places like Swansea and Southampton talk endlessly of the wider economic benefits of having a top-flight football team. It is fantastic PR and can change perceptions and encourage inward...

'7500 Ricoh attendees'. We get a crowd that low for the first time in 2 generations and suddenly you are using it to make a lame point? This club means a great deal to a great many people. 250,000 welcomed the team home in 87. Nothing, NOTHING, comes close to bringing this city together than...

Most of the crowd will be paying on the gate for this so there ought to be. Whether they'll be enough remains to see. Seem to remember a lot of people missing kick off for the Sheff Utd and Preston JPT games. Will easily be more there tomorrow than went on Saturday. Easily.

    New stadium - Let's suppose for a minute ....

I think you are referring to Paragon Park - that is a big site but there is a current planning app for housing on that site. Yeah, lots of greenfield sites/parkland within the city, and it is these sites the council are planning to build housing on.

    New stadium - Let's suppose for a minute ....

Not sure, but the actual amount of green belt within the city boundary is 6500 acres (the council only intend to build on 10% of it). Lots of small sites I suspect but a few large areas that have potential. Don't know about 60 acres though. I doubt this will ever happen for other reasons, so...
