    Worcester given 3,600 tickets.

:) Yeah, I know, but that wouldn't have made the point I was making quite as well..."small city, not too far away.."

    Worcester given 3,600 tickets.

Worcester were always going to bring 2000+. Large town, not too far away, and a big day out for them. As it stands more tickets have been sold for the JPT game, but they'll be a decent enough walk-up I imagine. About 7K all told at a guess.

I look forward to CRFC promotion....

Apologies if this has been posted already, and I know there are a million threads already, but seriously? Have the council every thought about promoting our own Rugby club in this way? This whole thing is seriously fucked up.

    fa cup 1st round

So disappointing we got a home draw. That's 3 home games in 7 days I think. That's going to sting. I must stay away from that blasted casino.

Wasps Ticket Prices at The Ricoh

Rugby sides play far fewer competitive home fixtures than lower league football sides so have fewer opportunities to generate revenue. They are also charging £18, so not sure what point people are trying to make. Persoannly though, don't care what they charge. All being well, all but a few...

Sky Blues owners to bid for Higgs' shares in ACL

I get the distinct impression that if CCFC were to somehow secure a 50% stake in ACL some people would be horrified. I don't care how they do it, but if they succeed (highly unlikely though it is), it will be the best news we've had in a long time.

    Government to back Franchise

Can't believe some people don't think a London based NFL team would take off. The London Monarchs averaged 40,000+ for the first 2 World League seasons at the old Wembley - and that was third rate at best and was never going to work long term. At the time they were one of the best supported...

    The fans are an embarrassment

Agree. There wasn't a Thorn Out campaign right up until the last minute. We didn't want Robins to go. We weren't screaming for the depatures of Dowie, Coleman, Adams, Black or McAllister. It was only really Reid where we kicked up a fuss post relegation from PL. Totally wrong to say we're...

    The fans are an embarrassment

I guarantee we have a bigger playing budget than Oldham and a good many other teams. Besides, we have shown SP support throughout, people were still singing his name on Saturday. Problem is we are in freefall. How long before something is done? Personally, I think our fans are remarkably...

    The fans are an embarrassment

What is it now, 8 wins in 37 games? And people are only now calling for a manegerial change. I'd say that makes us remarkably patient. I'm not sure I agree, but it is understandable.

    The fans are an embarrassment

Quite possibly the worst post, wind-up or not, ever to grace this or any other football forum. Every village has its idiot.

    sign up Ched Evans

It's called the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974. He is entitled to seek employment in his chosen profession upon release providing it isn't exempt. That he will do, and somebody will choose to employ him. Probably Sheff. United, and we can all boo him merrily as he bangs in a couple...

    Cheapest kit in league 1

I'm just been miserable. People can wear what they want I suppose, just never been a fan, but I suppose it generates income for the club. Just all that polyester and BO is not for me. Always get my son one though, and quite like the white one actually.

    Cheapest kit in league 1

The whole retro shirt thing is dieing a slow death thankfully. Was mostly people trying too hard to be different. Never understood adults buying replica shirts. Anyone over 40 who does (for any other reason than for playing football in) should be put on some sort of list. And yes, I am grumpy...

    Bristol City Fan In Peace.

Some silly predictions here. We're not as bad as people are suggesting. We're mid-table fodder, and Bristol City will lose games this season. Not saying we will win the game, but can't see us getting hammered. But if we do then that edit button will come in handy.

Yeah, just seen they have sold 3400. Even more reason to make an effort.

Get your arse up there tomorrow...

Don't usually post stuff like this, and wouldn't normally judge people for not attending, but really hope people make an effort tomorrow. We're playing a good side in front of 2500 away fans, so we need some backing, and I think it's far too early to say the season is over. I know some people...

Question for Grendel, Nick, Torch etc...

Correct me if I'm wrong, Wasps have paid around £5 million to secure 100% ownership of a 250 year leasehold. They are not clearing the loan, they are just taking it on. SISU bid for the Higgs stake (i.e 50%) on a much shorter lease and their offer would have seen the then mortgage cleared and...

    Sisu get what they deserve

The suggestion was that the council retain ownership of their profit making stadium management company until some inevitable future point when the club (perhaps under SISU, perhaps not) would make an approach for the stadium. The council have chosen a different path, and now the club is fucked...
