    Walsall match thread

Was going by the BBC stats http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/top-scorers which said 5 at the start of the match so I added one.

    Serious question about ACL, CCC

Wasn't aware we rented HR before the sale?

    Serious question about ACL, CCC

Have there been two sliding rent deals suggested? I know PWKH said there was one suggested by Sir Higgs when we moved to the Ricoh that was turned down and I seem to recall the one that has been mentioned by you and in the SISU era that had cost per fan included, or are they one and the same?

    Serious question about ACL, CCC

Probably true, even though the rent would have been at the same level as it was at the Ricoh.

    Serious question about ACL, CCC

The rent was an issue I believe from day one at the Ricoh, the old board approached ACL but I don't think that ACL had their finances in any sort of shape to be able to reduce it. Sisu took over and made no serious attempt to negotiate until we were relegated and they were already boycotting the...

    Question for Nick administrator.

You missed an F out, I'm pro CCFC, don't live in Coventry so they're not my council. ;)

But then how much are we making at Sixfields if it's all about F&B? This whole mess started out about the rent which was (I think everyone agrees) too high and when ACL made offers which were lower, F&B then became the big sticking point. I don't know the first thing about catering and can't...

According to the Trust Q&A session there would have also been real money changing hands http://www.skybluetrust.co.uk/index.php/component/content/article/227-full-version-of-qaa-to-acl-and-ccfc?showall=1

It wasn't a pro ACL argument it was more of a question (although one without a question mark - oops) and apparently they were offered the ACL share of F&B with cross invoicing to include the Compass share and take it to 100% to help with FFP.

Come on guys - You don't have to be a brain scientist

I think they're expecting ACL to be so buggered by the fact that the loan from the council would have to be repaid possibly in full if the JR goes their way. Sisu are probably hoping to get hold of ACL this way on the cheap, but they must then have a plan for getting the freehold as well as Joy...

    Your Move SISU

I thought at one point ACL had offered as much of the matchdays as they could/would in a previous rent offer and it was rejected. Not 100% on that one though as I had a bad nights sleep, not feeling great and the Nurofen haven't kicked in yet.

If the Judicial review application appeal fails then unless Joy puts in a serious offer for both ACL and the freehold* we'll be in Northampton until a new ground is built. The rate things are going that could well be the the medium term. *not renting anymore.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

ACL did say in their statement in August that So I suppose this shouldn't be a surprise really.

Surprise surprise SISU resort to courts again

You might think that, I couldn't possibly comment - or whatever the line is.

Surprise surprise SISU resort to courts again

It's PWKH they're scared of clearly;). First they claim he's MMM in some paranoid delusion and now when he goes on CWR for the first time in ages, SISU go back to the courts faster than you can say Sixfields. :)

Surprise surprise SISU resort to courts again

Allegedly reneged on an alleged deal over the ACL mortgage etc.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

Well they were owed a bit of rent then which they might not have got if Mr Fisher had actually gone through with his liquidation comment.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

Because sadly lawyers get paid a large fee by the hour and some of them will take on nearly any case (For the avoidance of any doubt I'm not suggesting that is the case here but it has been known to happen). Also Joy is used to getting her own way and isn't afraid to resort to the courts if she...

PKWH on CWR Shane O'Connor 23/10/2013

What I was saying is that ACL don't increase the cost of the freehold* but that the value of ACL will have increased if they really aren't dependent on CCFC playing there. No point in buying the freehold unless you are willing to buy ACL too. *I seem to recall ACL have done some building work
