CCFC v Tranmere - Match Thread

The uni was meant to be called the university of warwickshire. Think they found the whole county a bit common for them so they dropped the shire.

    If you were manager

If I was manager I'd lock all the players in a room with this fellow, record it, and then play it on the big screen before the next match. Of course the players would all suffer horrifc injuries, but at least it would give us fans a bit of enjoyment again.

CCFC v Tranmere - Match Thread

I agree its not in the modern county of Warwickshire, just as its not in the West Midlands as that doesn't exist as a county anymore either. The only thing that we can say is its in the Warwickshire area, and to me the towns of Nuneaton, Rugby & Leamington have far more in common with Coventry...

The West Midlands County Council was abolished on 31 March 1986, and so its districts (the metropolitan boroughs) are now effectively unitary authorities Heres a challange then: I will accept Coventry is in the West Midlands if someone can post a link to the West Midlands County website.
