Of course we did. In 2003 CCFC was out of money, the ACL project was about to collapse, City sold their shares to higgs trust. The club had to ask the council to approve this (as the council's partner was changing from CCFC to the Higgs trust), of which there was a lengthly council meeting which...

<p> No instead we just live beyond our means by getting the council to build us a stadium we couldn't afford to pay rent on.

If ccfc get away with this then were no better than Portsmouth.

I agree there is no alternative. Primarily because Sisu won't give up money it has invested in the club. There is no alternative to paying the rent to ACL because CCFC signed a legal document saying they would. ACL also have bills to pay, yet Sisu expect ACL to give up money it has invested...

Have we now not reached the stage where because the escrow account is empty ACL cannot draw from it? I seem to remember a email on here off Mutton saying that ACL were unwilling to take legal action while it could still draw on the escrow account. (Maybe not in them exact words!)

Yet despite this the club is still losing millions a year and edging closer and closer to admin/liquidation. A massive rent reduction of say 90% would see the club save around £900k a year. Where will the next lot of savings/increase in income that is needed going to come from? Some seem to...

Yes by not paying anything. If they were being even remotely reasonable they would have paid the amount they consider a fair rent.

With Sisu the club has no future. I want the club to act in a professional way to start with. Paying its bills on time and negotiating properly. Then just maybe when they have proven themselves to be worthy of running the club I would consider a discount. We are constantly being told that...

A court would tell you to move if you didnt like it.

ACL can just argue at what point did they force CCFC to sign such an agreement? Just for the record I do think the rent is too high, however I have no sympathy with Sisu as they knew how much the rent was when they took over, and for 4.5 years did absolutely nothing about it. Also just not...

I dont think theres a court in the land that would rule against ACL, I dont know on what legal basis Sisu/CCFC can argue why they shouldnt pay the rent.

Up to a point I agree. But this scenario is what I was thinking of when everyone was saying we wont go into admin because all the money is owed to Sisu. We're in a situation where that is no longer the case. We're now at the point of Sisu having to either do a humiliating u-turn, or washing...

I thought Jon Gaunt said we should all be behind sisu now because they learnt from their mistakes?
