Did a canal towpath run today - always prefer off road running, however I got caught in the torrential rain today. Running on an uneven and mud paved towpath was pretty treacherous - more than once I was nearly in the canal!

Brilliant result to finish a season we have to absolutely be proud of. Cannot wait to get back to watching us in person next year. Let’s hope if/when we have a dip in form next year, we don’t have to go through the reactionary MR out stuff again.

Another good few weeks running distance wise - averaging 30 miles. I did 10 miles cross country/canalside today and pushed myself for 2/3 mile intervals to keep a 7minute/mile pace. Felt surprisingly ok. Unlike Daz though I’m not losing weight - my sweet tooth is taking over!!

Paterson would be a great signing - he is an underrated player and would provide great competition for COH, and another attacking creative option. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen.

That was terrible. Probably get why it isn’t a red, but it’s a definite pen. Another stupid mistake - again we cut those out next year and we’ll have an interesting campaign.

Definitely wasn’t a knee jerk, it’s the third thread they’ve started re sacking MR. Plus it’s been their narrative since pretty early on in the season, most posts there was an underlying dig at MR. I appreciate the OP is playing a character (at least I hope so), but too many people jumped on...

Really shouldn’t underestimate what a fantastic achievement staying up is. It’s been a rollercoaster but if you didn’t expect that, then frankly, you’re naive. Well done to MR and the players, they’ve all stepped up recently and hopefully shut a lot of people up.

Great finish. He deserves a start next game so we can fully assess if he’s worth pursuing. He’s looked good on his last few appearances.

Always impressed with Eccles whenever I’ve seen him, and he seems to improve each time. Looks more confident too - I’m sure the two are linked.

Why are there no replays on red button, how unbelievably stupid is that. Looked a pen in real time and Hamer should have finished it after regardless.
