How is this happening?! Hungary is winning is an unexpected surprise that we wanted pre game, yet it’s now a negative as we’re currently facing France as they’re losing!

Hungary are really under the cosh though and I’m not convinced they’ll hold on considering there’s 70 minutes left. If they do and France win, then it’s a perfect storm. Even our under qualified, negative (yet twice semi finalist) should be able to put out a team to beat them.

I like Southgate, he’s been positive in many ways for England, and I tend to see the rationale in his decisions, but tonight has been very very poor. Foden off was bizarre, keeping Rice/Phillips likewise, and Sterling too.

Poor performance so far. Front three have been poor. Time for Grealish, maybe for Phillips/Rice and drop Mount deeper. Potentially look at Sancho (although he’s poor for England) or Rashford for Sterling at some point too. Kane is non-existent but DCL is poor so we can’t really change him.
