Bore off

Perhaps he should be developing in the reserves or out on loan rather than important league games?

    Let's be realistic and sensible...

What will happen next summer to make us promotion contenders next season? We will have even less money for players and the league will probably be tougher next year.

    Football League Show tonight

Our first sky blue kit was in 1889, Man City first had a sky blue kit in 1890. So if anything they stole sky blue off us! Why are we constantly trying to change everything about the club? The only thing that needs changing is the team. Our history is important, you shouldnt just throw it...

    Midlands football...

So the only league teams we can look down on now are Port Vale and Burton? At a push we could claim Northampton to be a Midlands team so theres another one! Can you say Chesterfield are in the Midlands? They are in Derbyshire.

    the referiing decisions and luck

Agree, I just hope that he can spread that attitude throughout the club. I think that in the past we've recruited managers with impressive c.v.'s, and signed players with good reputations. At first they come in and look exactly what we need, but after a few months the loser bug seems to infect...

    the referiing decisions and luck

Im sorry, and this isn't a criticism of anyone one here, least of all the OP, but blaming luck is the loser mentality that has our club where it is. No one (Players, Managers, Board) are willing to accept responsibility. We lost today because throughout that 90 mins Carlisle were the better...

Diabolical city .. Ccfc is dead: Thats me finished

One of the reasons you're refusing to go anymore is because the stadium is so empty. Do you not see the irony with that?

Coventry. 1 hour after we lifted the FA Cup.

It wasn't exactly a whites only area back then! I think it would be even better now as we are in more need of cheering up.

OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD NEWS : CET: Deal struck for half of the stadium with Higgs Trust

I feel the same, but the positive I take out of it is it should make us more attractive for new owners.

OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD NEWS : CET: Deal struck for half of the stadium with Higgs Trust

Lazy journalism again, the club sold its shares in 2003, not 2007.

    Is Stuart Linnell correct?

Not sure about now, but at the time of their admin these teams didnt own their ground: Crystal Palace, Leicester, Ipswich, Wimbledon, Leeds. Along with the smaller clubs of: Rotherham, Stockport, Plymouth. I think its so misleading to come out with statements of "it was Sisu or no one"...

Certainly NOT the lowest position in living memory!

Well it is certainly the lowest point since April 1959 when we were promoted. In this division we have never once been bottom, & never finished lower than 20th.
