    Will you go to Sixfields

Sad sad day. Only bright point is that I no longer have to panic when the wife says she's booked a holiday or a weekend away in case it clashes with a home game. I'll go to as many of the away games as I can, but will never watch a "home" game at Northampton - oh and to save anyone the...

    NTFC move

Sorry - I had to stop reading at "as Fisher has stated". I'm guessing it was something about unicorns.......

As I've posted previously, I think we have to persuade them that we are not "at the bottom of the business cycle" as TF said at the forums - but rather, if they go ahead with the move to Northampton, they will look back on the current time as a land of milk and honey. We have to starve them of...

I don't think that we can be defeatist. We know their track record (in no small part due to your efforts), but I think that our main hope is that football clubs "are different". Despite us now being a third division club, there is gradually a bit of media awareness starting to grow about our...

    It's all a SISU Bluff

Lucky for her that she's found something she's good at. Unlucky for us that she's so bad at running businesses.

Ranson's famous "we are debt free" comments were silly at best. I was never sure of the point of them. Told as many porkies as Fisher - Not sure that many people in the world could claim that :) I agree that Ranson should have negotiated early on the rent, but can't agree that that somehow...

Try reading the post again Lord. I agreed that he had a major tole in getting SISU in. I'm afraid that in the real world that does not make him responsible for their every action forever. Was he involved in the disastrous attempt at negotiating with ACL, has he been fronting discussions...

Many people and factors are responsible for SISU being here, but I would agree that Ranson is one of the major ones. To then say that that makes him responsible for all of SISU's actions - years after he left - is frankly a bit silly. SISU are responsible for all of this.

SISU are responsible for all of this.

we support the groundshare - sign here

Couldn't agree more. I was in Vancouver a couple of weeks back and went to a Whitecaps game. I was genuinely shocked by how young the crowd were compared with what I've been used to watching our games - and that's before a self-imposed exile.

we support the groundshare - sign here

Well, there were two strategies that I had in mind, but they are linked. The first is that being enacted by our owners. If you believe them (and I guess that it's possible that there is still someone out there who does): they have no alternative but to leave the Ricoh, they have funding in...

Not sure why you would transfer the trade out of one limited company into another unless it was part of a plan.

Try reading one of the multiple threads that deal with it and see if you can figure it out.

    Something not right

You have to cast your mind back to what was on offer. A "non-trading subsidiary with only property assets" - the property asset being the lease that SISU were trying to extract themselves from. The only other potential asset was the GS which CCFC Holdings were claiming beneficial ownership...

Something tells me they don't teach strategy at school.

Always assuming there really is a plan to build a stadium, rather than just a PR campaign to put pressure on ACL!

    Something not right

Sorry, you've lost me. There is a contract in place. It can be varied by agreement between the parties. Offers have been made by one side or the other - none of these have been accepted by the other party. Therefore the original contract remains in place and all offers/final offers etc...

As I said, that's where we differ. NOPM :p

    Can we exit administration?

Then I guess that's where we differ. I can't see any decent future for the club with SISU in charge - and if you re-read your last few entries, I'm not sure that you could either. So in my view they need to go. What we have to do is make the "pain" of pursuing their current strategy too...
