Sky Blues owners to bid for Higgs' shares in ACL

Pretty much, the "come and make us an offer" call is a farce really if can only be done through Ltd. Surely Higgs should be able to accept an offer outside the scop of the Ltd Option? If better than the Wasps offer, then they would surely be duty bound to accept it on behalf of the poor little...

    No good sacking Pressley....

Then his job as a manager is to get the players he has at his disposal to play a style they can play, regardless of whether he likes it or inot. Three points from a football match always worth more than a "Ten from Len" for artistic merit. Worry about grinding out a few results and instilling...

    Bob Ainsworth's view

Think that the major creditor would be ACL with the remaining lease at £1.3million per year, think it was around £60million ACL were claiming. The reason why it is an offer that really isn't to buy the Higgs share.

This needs saying - SISU have saved the club

Aye, sure that Wasps will be suing whoever told them that Coventry was a sporting hotbed, and a license to make money with 28,000 crowds every home game. Maybe it was Dongle?

    Bob Ainsworth's view

If Higgs were serious about offering their share to the club, then could do so without using the CCFC Ltd Option smokescreen. It's one of those offers, that actually aren't offers at all.

Not a nonsense giving a taxpayer-funded discount to a Rugby Club backed by a Maltese hedge-fund carrying a lot of debt though?
