Party atmosphere again! Not sure how’s it’s coming across on TV, but a great buzz here.

What a start and can’t say we don’t deserve it. Great confidence boost for them all. Tense 35 plus ahead.

Decent enough first half don’t deserve to be one down. Still got a good chance of getting something. Would like to see a bit more up front. Gyokeres working hard and looking a threat as always, needs a better partner - hard game for Godden to come back to.

Don’t disagree with the idea but depends on which Walker turns up and whether he’s willing to do the running. Doubt his confidence is high and he seems a confidence player.

Godden not offering too much so can see why calls for Walker, but as much as I like him I’m not sure he’ll offer much In this game against their CB’s either.

Yea, sort of regretted it as soon as I posted. Still rate him though.

Fulham are a good side but don’t think we’re out of it yet. Really like their LB. Another shite ref.

Remember when people thought Hyam wasn’t Championship standard?

Mitrovic constantly moaning at the ref. Tosser! They move the ball really really quickly but we’re holding our own and look fine on the break. Godden is rusty.

Probably the first game of the season where we have genuine reason to be apprehensive based on their strength and Wednesdays performance, but I’m excited for some reason. Lots of changes, let’s bowl that has a positive effect. I expect a slower game with Kelly and Sheaf in the middle, but...

Match Thread Fulham Match Thread - Sat 2nd Oct

As we’ve all said a million times Wednesday was shit. But I genuinely think it was a one off and we’ll be back to ourselves tomorrow, it’s just a shame it’s agains such a strong team, as that may stop us getting truly back to our best. I know the left side took a battering on Wednesday, both on...

It was a terrible terrible performance. Nobody can really hold their heads up, some were less bad (Hyam, Waghorn, Gyokeres (ish), Kane) but an all round shocker. It happens and as long as it’s a one off we move on and forget it. The high press troubled us, but if we hadn’t have conceded so...

I agree with the sentiment, but not in this case. Sheaf was the topic of conversation at the point I posted, so in context it wasn’t singling a player out. I was adding the viewpoint of someone who actually rates him, and agreeing he was poor.

Yep, not sure if everything needs to be caveated on here these days - I’m not suggesting other people have played well.

I like Sheaf and think he’s a good player and he’s very unfairly criticised, but he’s having an absolute mare tonight, not sure he’s made one pass. Not solely at fault for the goal though.

Match Thread Luton (A) Wed 29th Sep. 19.45 ko

It’s a horror show of a performance. Worst we’ve played, which is even more frustrating as Luton aren’t great. JCS, McFadz, Sheaf, Maasten, COH should never play for us again etc etc etc. It’s a terrible and incredibly frustrating day, but we move on as there’s been a lot more good than bad...

At least it gives the moaners something to do tonight. Good to clarify who the boo boys are this year.

Hi Mate, I’ve literally made all those same points across various posts. Us playing poorly AND the ref being shit can both happen simultaneously.

Not disagreeing we’ve been poor at all. But the ref has been a factor. Going 1-0 down to a non-penalty is a pretty significant event.

Time wasting at 3-0 up. Bit desperate.
