Is Kane injured? Or just absolutely terrible? Need more from our better players; Sheaf barely involved, Waghorn nowhere, Maatsen poor, Gyokeres regressing as half goes on.

A lot of sub par performances so far. Allen working hard but not a creator, Gyokeres good when on the ball and COH trying to be an outlet. Other than that we don’t look on it. Far far too slow tempo and what looks like a reliance on a few to do something special.

Gyokeres made that chance look very easy - they look weak at the back.

Feeling positive to be honest. Glad no Bidwell too. Hope Taveres gets some time. And as long as Sheaf, COH and Gyokeres are on it we’ll be fine.

Re Taveres, if we do start with two up front today, as long as were not in an incredibly tense holding on situation, surely he has to get some game time. No other recognised strikers on the bench to be chosen ahead of him, and he’d be coming on in a two which suits him. If not, it’s clear MR...

Appreciate your views, and I’m not suggesting what I’ve heard is correct (although it has come from someone within the club), but neither of you are ITK’s. Happy (and hope) to be proved wrong - I’m only sharing what I’ve heard - but let’s wait for Better Day, Believer etc.

I get that (experienced it even), but with such a small and, as it stands, depleted squad, I’m surprised it’s going on. For example, it’s not like we have two senior players for each position.

Interesting. Anyone in particular unsupportive? Didn’t think we had anyone like that in the squad!
