    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

So does this mean that when Tim said that the council had vetoed the sale of the Higgs share to them in the SCG teleconference last year he was talking balls as usual?

Judge has obviously seen all the evidence and decided accordingly, we've only had tweets but thanks Simon and Rob for those they've been great. Would be nice if we now got to see the evidence.

I wondered what the fence was for - obvious now to shield Tim.

That's the bloke - thanks! I remember he was in the Telegraph as having pulled out of the race (to buy us) and that he was a billionaire.

Nah if it was when Sisu first came in it was some foreign bloke I think, Cypriot or Turkish or Greek maybe?

On the one hand this is good news in that it shows that they haven't forgotten about our young supporters and are trying to lure them away from defecting and supporting someone else as we stay exiled at Sixfields. On the other (as was mentioned above) it does seem to be saying we'll be playing...

Coventry City captain Carl Baker wants to finish his career at the Sky Blues

On the few occasions I've seen him play he does at least look like he is trying and if he is/was on 8k a week I should hope so too. Does this mean that he's hanging up his boots if he isn't offered another contract with us?

Yes every single shareholder is an owner of the business of which they hold shares in. I was talking about all shareholders and not just the major ones (Higgs/Robinson), because they were all owners of our club. I'm sorry if you took any offence at this, none intended. I agree with you about...

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

You're talking about amongst others Mr Rod Lucas and his family who held 998 shares which had been passed down from their late father (a former vice president who had the club crest etched on his headstone). They were the last two percent of the shares that were needed to complete the take over.

Is this for real!?! Hedge fund offers £5.5m for something they said was worth nothing? We've got a few days worth of rubbish out the back here that they can make us an offer for in that case.

Maybe the Higgs had heard of Jo Dhinsa and wanted to make sure there was some cash this time?

Deering says only continued to fund club because they thought they could secure charities stake in Ricoh.

Sir Higgs was one of the major ones (did he have the most?) and Geoffrey R was another.

Do you not remember the request that went out to the shareholders to give up their shares to Sisu for virtually nothing. I think you got a bit of paper back saying that you'd once held shares in the club as a token gesture...

I came clean and we reached an understanding.

Something to remember was that the previous owners of our club were mostly if not all Sky Blues supporters. We've no idea if the current owners are as we've got no idea who they are, Joy doesn't appear to be a football fan let alone of our club though.

My boss said on Tuesday that there must be something up as I'd spent half the day either in the stockroom or the toilet.
