Seems to have gone very quite on this

To be fair to Clive I think he wanted to get as many questions in as possible given I would guess Mr Labovitch only had a certain amount of time he could spare. Waggot was going to be there to discuss the footballing matters because I would guess more people would turn up if matters on the pitch...

Then why did Mr Labovitch propose it? As my understanding of balance sheets is limited I'd appreciate the chance for someone like OSB58 who understands this stuff (and therefore can't be fobbed off) to bring up concerns they have and ask questions I wouldn't know or think to ask.

Seems to have gone very quite on this

So they've backed out of what Mr Labovitch proposed on CWR - what a big surprise. Using the excuse that they were invited by the Trust is just lame especially as it was their idea in the first place and the Trust were just offering to help set it up. Now I suppose we are just waiting for them to...

Bullspit I left my phone at home today and have only just caught up with the scores. So we still need another 3 points to be 100% assured of safety?

Regarding the funding of this site I'm happier knowing that Nick is neutral in all this and not taking contributions from either side.

So the club had topped up the account after there had been a missed payment or was it all the grant? The tenant at my flat has a similar arrangement except that they didn't get a grant. ;) If we had by mutual consent left the Ricoh on good terms and owed no money to ACL what would have happened...

Okay and sorry to be pedantic/get the facts straight, but it therefore wasn't Sisu who paid the money out.

But the money in the Escrow didn't originally come from the club/Sisu did it? Was the Escrow account topped up again?

To be fair to Les and Simon the current articles are based on things used and said in court and the CT have simply given us their verdict on the evidence.

Bad reading for a couple of you

There are doubtless supporting documents we as ordinary fans haven't seen, especially given how much stuff we saw the Sisu team wheeling into the court in one of Simon's excellent reports.

    It's Birmingham for the JR

Sorry my post was referring to Sisu winning their appeal to get a JR and the judge who granted it. Higgs case was a 'nil all draw'.

    It's Birmingham for the JR

Expensive bonus to get thrown out then given they each paid their own costs and for at least the first day (when the counterclaim was heard) Sisu had 8 on their legal team.

    It's Birmingham for the JR

Ah you mean Mrs Justice Thirlwall who granted the JR? I would hope that the judge whoever they are, will look at the facts and hear evidence before making a decision. The fact that a JR is granted doesn't imply wrong doing by the defendants, that's what a JR is there to determine.

Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

I can remember hearing on BBC GLR as I think it was back then that in an election in London the candidate who was opposed to smoking in public places or might have been altogether got less votes than the bloke who was looking for the looney vote and attended the count in a fancy dress costume...
