Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

My comment was specifically about negotiating style and even more particularly about the public statements that were made - rather than the context of the overall position. You may recall that I've said before that I thought that whilst SISU had a poor legal position, they had a strong moral...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

I agree entirely. I know that "but he started it" is generally an unproductive route to go down, but for me the approach that TF took through the negotiations was (quite literally) amazing. It seemed to go against all common sense - until the mists cleared and (for me) it became obvious that...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

As a serious point, it does show how bad relations have got between the parties.

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

I think that you'd have to show that the trade was in Ltd, was transferred out to Holdings for no sensible consideration and that it was done to avoid the liabilities in Ltd. Not sure how easy that would be to prove, but if you could "we'd have a whole new ball game going" (if you're old enough...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

That's true - but if it were established that all the companies were "associated" (in the context of the lease), then if SISU went down the administration route, we'd have a proper administration i.e. the football club would be in administration rather than "a non-trading property owning...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

This is the bit I'm not sure about. I think it's pretty reasonable to assume that ACL took legal advice on all aspects of the administration before they made their decision to reject the CVA. Rejecting the CVA was always likely to lead to the proposed liquidation and hence the loss of the...

    Hoffman and elliott

I cannot believe that the auditors would have signed off the accounts in June 2012, if they had been informed that the trade that those accounts showed had been transferred to another company and so Ltd was now "a non-trading subsidiary".

The move to Northampton has never made any business sense. How's your business cycle looking Mr Fisher?

I'll be at the Ricoh. The more we can get there, the better.

I thought we still had to file accounts for Otium and CCFC Holdings first - unless the FL have turned a blind eye to another rule.

    Simple Question

I think that that is very valid, the danger however, is that it becomes an excuse for accepting the status quo.

Sky Blues boss: I have no plans to sell off Carl Baker, Leon Clarke and Joe Murphy

To be fair, all the players always have had a price and very probably that will never change. The problem is that given the destruction of our revenues by moving to Northampton, the need to sell will become greater and the ability to hold out for a better price will become weaker.

Baker, Clarke & Murphy Told To Go

I'd be very surprised if those reported wages were true. I appreciate that the Murphy and Baker contracts are a somewhat older, but last summer I heard from a football agent that the maximum that the club would pay was in the £2k to £3k per week range (which sounded pretty sensible). As...

I'm sure that that's the right decision. This is a genuine case of "united we stand, divided we fall". NOPM.
