    we need a leader

As I recall, numbers were estimated at over 5k, so I guess you can probably manage the maths yourself. Was there a point to the question?

See you at the Preston game?

Not sure why recognising that the (vast, in my opinion) majority of the blame sits with SISU means that other parties are then by definition heroes.

    we need a leader

Perhaps because they have a couple of thousand members who (it is reasonable to assume) are/were all pretty committed customers of theirs. So a group that represents circa 20% of their customer base - most commercial organisations would see that as something worth paying attention to.

See you at the Preston game?

Yes, please excuse the sarcasm - I tend to be a little more pissed off on match days! I guess that what it comes down to is that whilst pretty much everyone would agree that there are two sides to blame, some see that as 50/50 and others more like 90/10. Personally, I'm in the latter group.

See you at the Preston game?

Don't you think that moving the club to Northampton might have contributed? Just a tiny bit perhaps.

    How many tickets?

I've followed the club despite never living in Coventry (family came from Cov). I've been going since the 60's, but won't go to Northampton.

playing our home games on a saturday?

That is the general rule, but in our negotiations with Northampton we agreed that they would have priority. Fair enough really - it is their ground after all.

    Telegraph response to Northampton advertisement...

Difficult to ignore such a balanced argument :p

It includes an article from Private Eye: Private Eye article about sisu and CCFC In case you haven't seen it (and are interested in a different perspective) here's an article from Private Eye. Coventry City The sad demise of the Sky Blues - now a homeless former Premiership club...

    Free tickets!

No - just like I was always suspicious of those who pontificated on the "fact" that the "average" rent in the third division was £170k.

    Free tickets!

Just so that I understand this correctly: As this is a temporary arrangement (though a minimum of 3 years with an option to extend to 5, is at the longer end of the "temporary" scale....) no one knows what the rent is. But when SISU were rubbishing the £400k rent offer (for a 32,000 capacity...

    Franchise - Relocation

True, but why is that? No doubt different people have different opinions, but to me it is clearly due to SISU's catastrophic mismanagement of the negotiations/relationship with ACL. As Lou Reed would have advised - "Reap, reap, reap, what you sow....."

    Phone in

Only managed to catch a few minutes of it. I thought that Eakin was pretty fair.

SISU handing tickets out to Northampton Fans :-/

No problem. We know that you can bullshit :)

    Gary Mcsheffrey

It would come to the same thing financially, but maybe at this stage in his career, he just wanted to carry on playing for his home town (yes, I know.....) club?

    Preston ticket sales

Slightly confusing message - The "NOPM brigade" should "give it up", which presumably means you're advising that "we" should start attending games in Northampton, but you "real fans" don't want us "fickle boo boys at sixfields anyway", which presumably means that you're advising that "we"...

    Preston ticket sales

Good, you're starting to see sense. Not wanting to be picky, but probably no need to shout if you're sitting at home - might upset the neighbours.

How many tickets sold for the Preston match

May even be cold - depends on exactly how bad the weather will be.

Show me the NOPM campaign is working...

Except that the amount anyone has put into a company is not relevant to any rational valuation - accountants refer to it as "sunk cost" for the obvious reason. A company is valued on either its future profits or its net asset value, or a combination of the two. You may recall that Mr Fisher...
