    Hoff on the Hill?

I think that the only bit I recall that was directly attributed to Hoffman was where he stated the importance of maintaining a good relationship with ACL. Shame that that wasn't listened to.

    away tickets

That was their old ground. Hence the current one being called the New Meadow - give or take the odd sponsorship deal.

When are the trust going to reveal the truth??

I was just teasing :p To be honest, I thought the whole thread was ridiculous.

Right, let's get all this out the way

One might ask why, if he's prepared to talk to them, he doesn't initiate the call. That's what I do when I want to speak to someone. But, I'd agree that it's a step forward from his previous position.

When are the trust going to reveal the truth??

Glad you didn't clarify to start with though. Some of the outraged responses were really very amusing.

I think that's true and it reflects great credit on Pressley and the squad.

Away tickets being sold through Shrewsbury are sold out. There may still be some left through CCFC, although some people were posting that they were (almost?) gone at the end of last week. The match is all ticket (per the Shrewsbury website) and there will be no sales on the day. I...

I'm afraid that that is the logic that allows people to tar everyone who attends Sixfields with the North East Skyblue brush.

Right, let's get all this out the way

I didn't hear this - what did he say? Last comment I heard from him on this subject was that he wouldn't talk to ACL until "they gave the 10 points back", so it sounds like he's moving position. Good news all round if he is.

The classic response to being beaten in debate. "Ha ha, I was only winding you up - now I'm off" Rather sad really.

How many people have expressed that view. We have sold out at Shrewsbury a week in advance of the game. That suggests that if capacity wasn't an issue, we could probably have sold 3k (?) tickets. What percentage does the first group make of the second?

Please don't say that I've said things that I have never said. I think they call that a lie.

And I've read posts from North East Skyblue (or whatever his name is) "slagging off" all those who don't attend, but I don't then extrapolate his views to encompass everyone who goes to Sixfields.

That type of approach would be more helpful, dare I say constructive - from both sides of the debate.
