Championship average (at Ricoh) was over 20K for first couple of seasons then fell away by about 1K per season until relegation. It was a decent Championship average. Fickle? Yeah, we can be of course, but then that applies to a lot of other clubs too.

Fair play, I know this is not as easy a decision for some as it was for myself because of my view on the events that have brought us to this point. It's worth saying though that your money won't go anywhere near the owners, it goes straight to the club and then straight out again to cover costs.
