    If no one supports ACL....

I thought I may have missed that as I've been on holiday and had no internet connection. However as I can only find a statement from the FL yesterday confirming this, I obviously hadn't missed it whilst away and very good news that we are less likely to be penalised. But why did the initial...

    If no one supports ACL....

We don't know how much is in the holding account and statements from Sisu have been vague on how much has been put in which is worrying. If the full amount hasn't been put in and therefore doesn't get paid what happens then? Are we liable to get (at the very least) another points deduction if...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

What Mr Justice Hickinbottom actually said was: Source: Approved Judgement Page 39 So as the Higgs said that they were prepared to sell their half for £5.5m it seems to be within the range the judge quoted that a private investor would have valued the whole.

    JR Decision Appeal ?

Reminds me of the line in Hot Fuzz where Simon Pegg is talking to Jim Broadbent at the end. "Pack it in Frank you silly bastard" There are no winners in all these court cases (baring the lawyers), only us fans are guaranteed losers as long as we're not playing in Coventry. The club is...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

What I would like to know is what were the terms and what it in the terms of the offer that did include the pie money that Sisu didn't like. Also why didn't Sisu offer the Higgs the full amount to begin with rather than a small amount and installments later on?

    Legal costs awarded?

A nice little earner for the council then assuming that ACL repay it all. I guess they would have agreed to it (as shareholders) so must think it's in the best interests of ACL.

Are SISU liable to a legal challenge themselves?

Well it's possible that the judge got it wrong, but I strongly suspect that Mr Justice Hinckinbottom has a bit more legal experience than Mr Fisher. The sad fact is we don't know whether our club is being saddled with the costs of these court cases and if we are then debt will be growing...

Are SISU liable to a legal challenge themselves?

I'm not suggesting anyone has done anything wrong outside of that included in the judicial review judgement...but the parties who brought the Judicial review were Sky Blue Sports and Leisure Arvo Master Fund Coventry City Football Club (holdings) Ltd.

Danny Swanson- step in the right direction

That sounds mostly positive and we just need to put prozac in the medical kits as standard.

    More Fisher Talk In CT.

Most depressing thing in that article is the word 'might' at the beginning. "Where a new arena might be buit (sic)" As opposed to "Where a new arena will be built" Oh and Simon there's a typo, see above.

    Disturbing

What is there to celebrate? Tim says that they're going to appeal against the JR verdict which means someone (as well as the lawyers) will have to focus on that and not running our club. We're letting players go and not replacing them and if the Metro newspaper is to be believed everybody is or...

    Blair Adams gone.....

It's a bit rubbish if we did get rid of him solely to avoid paying an appearance fee, even if it was to Sunderland. However as I've not seen him play much I am relying on a mate who said that he showed promise.

    JR finished

The rent was too high as all parties admitted a while ago and was mentioned in the JR. However Tim today in rejecting the KCIC offer said that it wasn't about the rent - it's the pie money. I've forgotten exactly where the figure of £21m came from but I think it was from the overrun of build...

I asked before but I'm not sure if anyone knows: if there had been a mutually agreed ending of the lease by both sides what would have happened to the Escrow?

    JR Verdict Thread

You are aware that the Sisu QC said in court that the high rent the club was charged by ACL was a direct result of the YB mortgage aren't you?

    JR Verdict Thread

As I wasn't at any of the meetings with ML I'll have to take your word for that, but it's interesting that if he was correct the council didn't take them up on that. The temptation to say fat chance you started it, so see you in court was obviously overwhelming. I assume he didn't elaborate on...
