Not been this excited for a game since pre WC. Cannot wait. Also fairly confident we’ll get the result too and contribute to the annual Mowbray downfall.

Match Thread ⚽️ Rotherham United vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 18th Feb

We won convincingly on Tuesday. We won ugly today. Both of which are encouraging signs. The potential of play offs is real and we are hitting some form. Fadz is back, looking great and improving those around him. Sheaf still to return and Godden too. All things are on the pitch are positive...

He is so so so good. Such a shame we won’t get to see him with a proper team around him. Had we not been so unlucky with injuries and a small squad we really could have made a go of it this year.

Link up between Palmer and Gyokeres is very good. We’ve seen it incrementally improve and today is the best it’s been.

Generally not in the anti-Allen camp as he does offer something but he always looks so nervous on the ball. So far tonight; should have got the shot away, broken down two attacking plays around the box with terrible passes and needlessly given the ball away in the middle third.

New contract about to be announced

Great news. He’s genuinely improved year on year and the benefits of his experience are clear to see. I think we all feel more confident with him at the back. Nice to see he feels an affinity for the club too!

The bigger question for today; how many people have managed to secure a pass out to get to the game tonight?!

Quicken the pace, play a bit of football and they look vulnerable. What a surprise!!

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Luton Town Match Thread - Saturday 11th Feb

The penalty foul epitomises every tackle they make when we attack; no intent to play the ball. It’s so so annoying, breaks up our attacks and get zero punishment in terms of bookings (other than the pen). They’re a horrendous team and we have a weak ref, so it’ll continue. However, also shows...

I assume he started JWE as their right side is rapid. He’s very very naive though.

Surprised not been said yet; these are by far the biggest (physically) and most non footballing team we’ve played this year. At least two thirds of their team are absolutely stacked.

Palmer witch hunt is a bit pathetic tbh. It’s a miscue which happens all over the country every week; this was just in an unforgiving position. Fans favourite Hamer got done for the cross didn’t he?

So Allen drops back and Palmer at 10. Sheaf is a big loss, we’ll loss composure in the middle with Allen, but gain it at 10. Plus we get to see the Allen v Palmer debate rumble on…..

Also, might be getting confused with players, but was Amari’i Bell an absolute bell end last time we played them?

There’s been a lot of focus on our CBs and Keeper recently, which is fair enough with some of the amateur defending we’ve seen. However, and I feel like a broken record, the importance of our wing backs is massive. They have to offer an outlet, and be effective in doing so else we’re too one...

    Ratings WBA

Wilson - 6 - could have done better for the goal, and another throw where he was rooted, but was fine other than that. BNC - 3 - so poor. Offered nothing offensively and was poor defensively, including the goal. Anonymous too. Massively anti climatic signing as it stands. McNally - 5 - mixed...
