    Marosi

Clayton Ince syndrome. Just because someone plays well against us the once we see them doesn't mean they will make good signings. Mc Indoe was another one that always played well against us but was useless once he actually played for us.

    Baka departs

Always had the impression that if Baka got a sniff of a goal his first instinct was to pass. A lack of confidence maybe, and if a club can get him to use his natural attributes to full effect he could still become a decent player. He's probably the player Hearts should have gone for intead of...

    Steve Hunt.

He should have done. Although still a good player at West Brom, he was at his peak while playing with us.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

I wasn't really a fan of Hiwula but I wouldn't put him down as a poor signing. His best period coincided with Enobakhare playing with us, when he certainly played well.

Put your dummy back in! Criticism and analysis of poor performance is fine, its the mindless insults of players we are supposed to be supporting that is not ok to my mind. Shipley has had plenty of those insults thrown his way this season.

Do professional footballers have a special gene that makes them insensitive to insults?

    The shushing Shipley

The faux outrage at Shipley's goal celebration is hilarious considering the dog's abuse he's received on here. So many delicate hypocritical souls who are happy to dish it out without being able to take a pretty tame response. It wasn't as if he got his dick out and said suck on this :)

Natural curiosity. It's very easy to dismiss the notion he might read posts about him on here, but if their was a thread on here titled 'Boosh is an idiot' I'd imagine you would read what was said on it.

Keogh maybe slow and passed it now, but anyone that didn't realise he was a good player for us is a bit of a fool. That said Tavares confidence must be up after the game in midweek, so might be nice to see him come on for the last half hour and give Keogh a bit of a run around.

Judging from this thread it looks like us supporters are already on the beach, let's hope the player aren't! Anyhow, anyone remember this from the 80's?

You never see Shearer at Blackburn? He was quick before he had his injuries, but adapted brilliantly afterwards and was a different player.

Is it not a PFA thing? Pretty sure its voted by the players.

    Budget

Has Ashley pumped in 100s of millions or is that a lazy urban myth? On the face of it your quoting the excessive amounts spent on 2 under performing players backs that up, but the context changes somewhat when you consider Newcastle received £126m in TV payments last season alone. Add on gate...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

I know I replied to your comment but it wasn't you I was specifically digging at. There seems a knee jerk thing amongst many of our supporters to want to re-sign ex players, or sign Cov born players - it happens every transfer window. In respect of Leahy while I acknowledge he has a decent left...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

This is the Luke Leahy who has been a mainstay of this years relegated Bristol Rovers team, having previously been a mainstay of relegated Walsall's team? To save time I thought I would just list any Cov born player, as I think we can expect similar posts through the Summer. A quick google...

Stats figures for how much each Championship club has spent

Irrelevant - that's just hindsight. After 39 games they were only 2 points above the drop zone and closer to relegation than we were at the same point this season. Even so there were many on here that were convinced we were in real danger of going down this season, so I'm pretty sure a large...

Stats figures for how much each Championship club has spent

Portsmouth definitely flirted with relegation to the Conference in 2013-14. They were lying in 22nd place with only 7 games left, so I imagine a lot of their fans feared the worst at that precise moment in time.

    Come on Barnsley

Surely you don't need @Barnsley to tell you that? We only played them last Sunday! Did you not see them playing Dike, their £20m forward?

Grant is Tyler Walker's buddy. He's a better shout than many I've seen on these threads.
