If this goes through it will be a disgrace and those who voted it through should hang their heads in shame. Ignoring the financial aspects and us for a second, they're encouraging a team to move further away from their fans and that is plain wrong, worse than Mr Cardoza at NTFC.

That's their bad luck I guess, I assume that they're getting the money upfront this time and not by installments.

Yeah I can remember both the Cup and the Charity Shield and it makes me feel old seeing the old Wembley. I still cry when I see Killer lifting the cup having limped up the stairs.

So it's not alright for us to be moved 35miles away to Sixfields (or another football club), but it is for rugby fans to lose their team to another town/city. :facepalm: Franchising sports clubs is wrong in my opinion.

I don't suppose you have anything that backs any of that up do you? Otherwise it is just rumours and conjecture and has been examined as such quite well by OSB58.

Sports clubs should not be franchised and not taken away from their supporters. We didn't like being taken to Northampton did we.

Very true, Mcginnity said recently that Sir Higgs would be "turning in his grave" over all this, so I dread to think how old man Higgs would have taken what's happened to the club.

Didn't Mr Dinsha at one stage say something like he'd been talking to the Chairman's PA and been unable to get past her to talk to McGinnity. Only for McGinnity to come back saying that he didn't have a PA anymore as part of his cost saving measures, hadn't done for 6 months or more.

What an awful thought, I prefer walking through the doors every morning and seeing my current manager (fitter, younger ;) etc.). and also married :(
