Dorset Sky Blues and travelling City support. We salute you.

Its frustration. I felt very angry last night, yet I didn't know who I felt angry with. I can understand why people booed, and if our players are as passionate about the club as they should be, then they will understand that.

    Rebrand to yellow

My understanding was that Coventry blue was a light shade? Highfield Road had it painted on it as far back as 1899: The correspondent of the Coventry Reporter described the scene: "As one enters the ground from Highfield Road, the eye encounters the grand new stand on the opposite side of...

    Rebrand to yellow

Yellow is good as an away shirt, but for home colours I like something that has a link to the city.

    Rebrand to yellow

Except we had our first Sky Blue kit in 1889, and the majority of kits from then until the 1920's had at least some sky blue in them.

Imagine if we ended up in the Conference?

About as stupid and pointless as our own so called fans for turning on people for daring to go to a game. We should be welcoming them.

Imagine if we ended up in the Conference?

You must be even more bored to comment on it.

Imagine if we ended up in the Conference?

Sarcasm my good man. But I'm sure thats how some of the self appointed best fans on here think.

Imagine if we ended up in the Conference?

It would be brilliant going to games....ok there would be at best about 3k at home games, but at least they would all be 'proper fans'. We would look back on those years 20k+ crowds and think, yes we've made it as a club and as a group of supporters. We have finally banished all those...

    Not Doing The Basics!

Careful or you will be accused of being a fickle plastic fan! Thought the same thing to myself last night, they just needed to keep it simple.

    I have a hunch...

    We will win 2-1

    Yeovil is a bigger game.....

Since I have started supporting the sky blues Newcastle fans have seen European football, consistent top half premiership football, championship title and just one relegation. Cost of tickets has nothing to do with it, people will watch a winning team.

    lets put.......

In fairness I think we can score 3 at Crewe, but I think the clean sheet is the tough part.

    Yeovil is a bigger game.....

Play offs are more important than jpt, but the Yeovil game isn't. Lose to Yeovil and it doesn't mean we can't make the play offs, likewise win it doesn't mean we will make it. As for what teams deserve, no club has a right to expect anyone to keep coming and watching them. Supporters...

You might be right, but its more an overall comment really. Its the defense holding us back this year, not attack.

Dorset Sky Blues and travelling City support. We salute you.

Was it the plastics or the 'real' fans who were throwing bottles around in scoreboard corner? Absolutely disgraceful.
  18. coundonskyblue

    lets put.......

We were unlucky not to score, but we still conceeded 3 goals which had nothing to do with bad luck.
  19. coundonskyblue

    Yeovil is a bigger game.....

Disagree, last night was a far bigger game. It could have won over a whole new generation of sky blues. As for deserving the crowds, surely league 1 teams deserve league 1 crowds?

    Singing/Singers Corner/Atmosphere

What a load of crap. If you think it wasn't a good atmosphere then I suggest you go for a hearing test. Alsi anyone who wants an empty ground is promoting the destruction of the club.
